I think the problem Lorielan has is that a whole city was begging her to save them and she was one of the Divine associated with that City and she let them drown. And Sarapis loved her and she betrayed him. So, she was the last hope of a whole city, and she let them rot, and on the Divine side of things she let Sarapis down. In Mhaldor or Ashtan this probably is not that rare, but I personally had never seen it before with Cyrene or Shallam or Eleusis, the cities with which I had contact.
I don't know how to articulate this IC because the gods and goddesses are to be respected by mortals and this line of thought is not at all respectful. So I don't say anything in the open and I never will, because I don't know how to do it while conforming to the communication boundaries mortals have with the Divine. But this is not a goddess whom it is safe for anybody to trust. Morthif shouldn't have shouted it out -- but disfavor or not, what he said, a lot of people are thinking, and there is no changing that.
Lorielan will likely forever be 'the Betrayer' in the collective eyes of Team Good b/c of Shallam going down the way it did. It's very much in the factional RP to look on Lorielan with quiet disdain for flipping deuces when the other Team Good gods stayed and died.

Forum RP ahoy. Personally, I think Lorielan was the smart one out of the bunch.

@Shirszae : I don't know what forum RP is. I've been in the room with a lot of Divine, including Babel and Pandemonium, whom Phaestus opposed, Phaestus always told everybody in his Order to be respectful to the Divine, so I basically just said and did nothing if Babel or Pandemonium or etc. was in the room. If Lorielan was in the room with me, I'd basically say and do nothing. Not much RP, no disrespect, no drama, just stand there. As far as the forums go, I have nothing against the player controlling the goddess, and if it was taken that way by anyone, I am sorry I gave that impression.
True disfavoured by Lorielan for under 3 Achaean months (which is about 68 hours).
Abilities in Vision:
I knew there was some lesson loss but I mean really? This is a lot
HELP 11.6:
Alters your skills, with the amount in each skill dependent on the God doing the favouring or disfavouring.
Every ability in Vision is about gaining Knowledge on something. Sounds pretty appropriate to me!
looks about what you'd lose if Anytus or Meletus disfavoured you, too. Fun fact : Dragoncraft isn't affected but Battlerage is
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

this I discovered. But Priest is shiny and new and would of tri trans'd tomorrow but now I have 3 days before I can use it. Booo
dragoncraft not being affected is also a bug, and who knows, maybe you're lucky and the bug is still around where you gain experience instead of losing it if a truefavour wears off!
neither are listed as even tested in my buglist, anyway, so you might come out with +0.5% instead of -0.5%

Pretty much it wouldn't be beyond team good to take down her shrines at the moment.
Also woke up after qq in my mine. Mine went poof and I ended up stranded with no ship in the deep ocean in the middle of sarapis tears. For a dwarf this was comical. Had a bunch of help from lots of friends from many different places. Made me feel home. Also joined the guard and got my title back. Feels good to finally have found a place to call home again as a character.

I dreamt (in physical person instead of text, which is unusual) that I had found a large silver lode. I couldn't take it myself, and I couldn't find Taraus, so basically I camped out on top of it with blanket and all, waiting until she got there, then Watchman went and found her for me and was so pleased when she saw the lode and was happy about it.
That was ten days ago...
This is a location for mining things.
The sun is shining, the birds are singing tweet tweet, tweet -- aaahh crap, one died. There also may be a plant here, or several plants. Maybe.
You see exits leading forward, behind, a little to the left, and your rear end.
You determine that there is a large lode of silver ore here.

1 alchemist, 2 apostates, 2 infernals, 4 magi, 2 runewardens and 3 serpents present, of those 8 are dragons (15 total).
Beads of sweat drip down your face, blurring your vision.
You tell Taraus in Mhaldorian, "So, uh. I may have found a large silver lode. Would you like it, Adjutant?"
Taraus tells you, "Oh. Yes, one second."
(OOC Clan): You say, "Dreams do come true."
(OOC Clan): Taraus says, "Lmao."

I'm going to go the opposite way here: Strongfavoured by Lorielan for over 1 Achaean month. Whenever a god deems fit to favor Vith he always ends up offering a bunch of essence for them and making it a point to learn more about them. Also. Vith fucking /hates/ Shallam and anything to do with Shallam. If anything Lori letting it sink was a good thing, in his mind.
The Goddess of Knowledge disfavoured you, though. It makes sense to me that your knowledge would suffer the most as a result.
Making sense doesn't make it any less retarded. As an administrative punishment for (consistently) breaking the rules, maybe, but making at least some aspects of the game unplayable because you did something a God didn't like is dumb. The other penalties are bad enough.
Morthif has been consistently bad-talking Lorielan lately, though, in shouts at least, if not other venues.
I mean... he died what, yesterday, the day before, to her insta-kill? Is that not a hint to quit it? Sure, Targossas doesn't like Lorielan. Melodie doesn't like Aurora. Do you see me shouting insults (much less consistently) at her? No, because that's a pretty foolish (or very blunt, depending how you view it) way to call attention to yourself.
If you want to dislike a God(ess), then go ahead, but anything you do, especially in a public and all-hearing venue such as shouts, be prepared for consequences. As a somewhat extreme example, when I went to Mhaldor, I had a three irl day truedisfavour and one day maggot (the latter almost arguably an OOC punishment, but I just rolled with it) from Gaia. I was a brand new class (apostate) and couldn't even use most of my new abilities. Then there's the fact we were constantly raided/raiding right as I joined, as well. I literally went to attack Eleusians with 800 health, and Iakimen was killing me in two of three hits in a combo.
I didn't complain because I knew I had earned it. Accept what you did, and either choose to not do it (in that manner) anymore, or continue to reap the IC consequences.

I'm not saying there should be no consequences. I'm saying the consequences shouldn't mean the best course of action is to just not play the game until they've worn off.
I guess you could view it as that. I don't, really. You're more limited in your play, but you're not entirely cut-off.

The only thing he's really cut-off in for the duration of the truedisfavour is pvp and seafaring (since shipreturn is also removed during a truedisfavour)
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
only useless in pvp. Can still hunt and maybe get enough essence for a truefavour to cancel out the negative effects of a truedisfavour.
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
also shipreturn seems to work still. I deserve to be punished but making my classes absolutely useless for 3 days is not it..
If you don't want the punishment, don't bad-mouth a Divine, RP or not.
atleast not in public / a way they cannot ignore it
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
Been wondering whole day and night...I am able to hardlock people a lot easier at 2.5s truewrack (even with them not curing fluids), than when I was a Shaman cursing at .99s. Alchemist.
Bro I walked around with 2 of those when I left Targ for nearly a week.
I don't think something happening in the past justifies it's future use. Hoping no one ever gets dumped on like you did when you left. Was excessive and something I would never stand behind.

If they're not curing fluids, it's even easier to lock them. Esp. if you're going phlegmatic route. Locking them just takes a little (not much) more effort, if they're focusing para/impatience/asthma over fluids.
The fact you can temper/inundate/truewrack in the same combo is a bit excessive.
