Was asked to go sailing and captain a ship for the first time forever. Must be like riding a bike or something, because somehow I got through all the chops with zero mistakes. The whole trip was almost flawless until I stupidly crashed into the shoreline right before docking.

We dislike Shallam, yes.
But you have to remember that the -people- begging for help were us. As individuals, we all felt the weight and anguish of that abandon.
Well, they. I never trusted Redeemed Lorielan, even when she was patron of the Dawnstriders. For various reasons.

3 days? That's nothing. A few Twilights ago I was disfavoured for 3 RL weeks for shrine defiiling. For 21 days I had to pay other people to defile because I lacked the skills to properly hunt for corpses or defend myself. Oh, the horror! The huge amounts of gold spent hiring mercenaries to exact my revenge!

In all seriousness though, 3 days is about appropriate for shouting things against a God. Lots of players received a full week disfavour for similar antics prior. Disfavours should make you rethink your roleplayed actions and lower your ability to defend yourself against Her order.The choice you have now is simple: Apologize or double down.

You're confusing IC and OOC feelings/motivations again, unfortunately, Kayeil. OOC, shallam was a mess, thank you Sarapis forever for engineering a faction reboot. On an IC level, no Shallamese could ever have rightfully desired or imagined their homeland and its Houses outright obliterated by the forces of an alien god. The disdain for Shallam you sense from current Targossian characters is typically ooc feelings bleeding over or born from a desire to rise above its ruin, building something better and more focused.

 Officially, Targossas's stance is neutral towards her. On an individual, personal level, feelings towards Lorielan and her realm are (and should be) much more complex, particularly for Shallamese survivors.

I've always just said: Which does more damage? A sharpshooter kicking someone or shooting them?

edit - You know I've never really noticed it, but that is the one thing almost everyone has asked that I've shown Achaea to. Weird.

While being TDF'ed is annoying, I like the fact that the Divine have an impactful way of reminding mortals they are near-omnipotent beings. Mortals SHOULD be extremely wary of angering Gods. And honestly, a death zap is less impactful to a dragon than a disfavour.

Also, Isaeah was recently disfavoured by @Aurora for something he did. It helped to add more personality to my character and some rp that has made an amazing difference toward him seeming more real.

Got HR2 in the scions, wondered if I should stay sent or go sylvan or even serp again. I haven't really messed around with the class a lot yet, and I know people say it's pretty good, but not sure how good it'll be at the top tier without arties now that you're stuck with a crappy axe/spear if you go forged. At least under the old system having connections let you get good weapons for less than 1600 credits.

I know a lot of that is just bitterness that the old super-sent doesn't exist anymore, but eh! Also I'd probably need to change race but Kiet's been mhun for his entire existence so I'm not really looking forward to that either.
