Agreed. Bard is perhaps the #1 most complicated class to master, between jab, song balance, venom, tune, limb, stances, harmonics and I think there's still more that won't fit into my brain now . So many things to watch for. I mean compared to serpent and Alchie, I am so busy with bard!
so quick question. i use server queuing with my serpent cause i cant without it due to lag making me miss important time tables. and my issue is that when i que up a dstab and someone paralyzes me it eats my command since i was hindered. so if i did ddcv and then ddck which is curare and weariness and then curare and asthma. but if i am paralyzed when i do that ddcv it fires off and does nothing and moves on to ddck. does anyone know of a way in which i can do commands thats will only fire if i am on balance and not hindered. i cant build momentum vs affliction classes cause of these issue. thanks.

Yeah it happens. What we generally do is spam say cq all/ddcv until it goes thru, then spam cq all/ddck. I don't know anyone on the top tier not spamming important commands?
Can artefact warhammers break limbs in less than 4 hits, if so what level can they break in 3?
yes, but still only at certain health levels. I've never seen a warhammer break in more than four, but a lvl2 will break up to 4k health in 3 hits. a lvl3 hammer might be able to break up to 4500 or so in 3 hits.
Personally I think warhammer should just be changed to a flat 4 like rend or clamp, for the few people I can break in 3 hits it becomes laughably easy.
i think it is sword and board that can ignore paralyses. how the hell do i deal with that. i tried using darkshade in its place an i couldnt stack at all. any ideas? im serpent.
Sword and board is kind of broken with the para-ignore, imo. Serps can't pressure health/mana to punish it at all. I mean you can try to work around it but it's exponentially more effort than the snb has to put in.

When they use dedication it hits their mana and health. You were against a pally that is tanky and can heal passively and you don't have option to pressure his health, he is gonna use that forever. Since you dex spec, you are probably going to feel his damage pressure and san-imp lock, pretty nasty to deal with.
But against the general S&Bs that are not that tanky, they don't have the luxury of keeping up dedication for very long, and most S&B STR spec and not con spec.
Since you are as hindered, it may not be easy to fight against, but you can always run and try again. Try snapping lethargy, going with ginseng stack into scytherus relapse, while branching your lock, may be an option, I don't know.

the issue with trying to go for the stack. para is used to eat herb balance because everyone has to cure it to attack or run or evade or touch tree. so with curare kalmia dstabs i can be rather sure they will only get one kelp eat when i go for the lock. an in my kelp stack strategy that gives you 33 percent chance to cure asthma. With atalkez he was just eating two kelps. when i tried using another affliction to replace para he would let it stack then ignore it for a few eats destroying my stack. now on top of that i was dealing with his passive curing also. so honestly i couldnt stack ginseng for a scytherus relapse. what this tells me is i need to figure out a whole strategy on just locking one class type because of one ability they have. gonna be fun.

You can work voyria into your lock chains to eat the passive cure once you get ahead of herb balance, since it cures voyria first always. No one cures voyria immediately, it always gets cured on the 2nd or 3rd message, can't recall which.
Serpent is the most equipped probably to deal with this, especially artied, as your affliction speed is so good. Traditionally, the kelp prio will only work if you're leaning on asthma. Most people will still prio bloodroot if you do clumsiness, weariness, sensitivity then do kalmia/curare to force the kelp prio to fire, keeping them paralysed and giving you a 50% chance of sealing lock on next dstab if you snap/slike/gecko.
Outside of that, it's really just going to come down to how well you can keep curare stuck to disable tree and you should be using expert diagnoser to make sure vernalius/asthma are stuck when you expect them to be, etc.

Heartsfury procced, he was paralysed, but the combo still goes through in full?
Mindshell whips Matsuhama's morningstar toward your right leg. Full of controlled rage you lash out in a counterstrike. You bring a Soulpiercer crashing down on Mindshell. Horror overcomes Mindshell's face as his body stiffens into paralysis. The right side of your body loses all feeling as the weapon of Mindshell discharges energy into you. The power of the blow sweeps your feet out from under you, and you tumble to the ground. You lose purchase on a mighty ghost basilisk. You cease blocking the exit. You relax into your normal fighting stance. Mindshell whips Matsuhama's morningstar toward your left arm. Your shield completely absorbs the damage. Your left arm goes abruptly numb as Matsuhama's morningstar crunches home. (0.062s)
Tagging @Xinna. How do I understand Riposte/Heartsfury in terms of interrupting combos?
Removing it does take away one thing to manage, Bard has too much to manage already. HF/Riposte free affliction with switching parry, I love it when I guessed it right and it procs.
Hunt used to hit fast and have a chance to give a venom, then was changed to hit slowly but give a venom, then afaik was changed to not give venoms but allow some other weird shit like summoning demons without a pentagram.
Does respectable damage and bleeding now, and unless I'm mistaken, also gives haemophilia, which adds up as you're curing other things. (If it doesn't give haemophilia, something else gives it passively. Not caught up with new Apostate fully, but I always have haemo shortly after getting daeggar hits.)

Otherwise you have to WHIP <target>.
