Thank you for everything you all have done to help me get use to playing Achaea! I've been having loads of fun. I've learned a lot about the game thus far, and there is much more for me to learn! Thanks to you all I was able to feel welcomed and decided to keep playing Achaea instead of going to a different game. You guys have made Achaea worth playing, I'm thankful each and everyone of you don't get mad at me for my newbish questions when I ask them. I look forward to more fun times with each and every one of you!
To show what exactly I felt like when I first started playing I would like to direct you to exhibit A as evidence:
Exhibit A:
You forgot the most important person
Yeah, how could you leave me (the most important person) out of that rave? Did you think I wasn't gonna read forums?
@Kadin for being the best hubby ever, and for putting up with me for this long. Couldn't have ended up with a better person. I'm very grateful to have him around.
@Skarash for always having a listening ear and for being a great friend. He listens to all my crazy ideas, plots with me, and works on a lot of things with me. He's also always willing to help out when I'm stuck or unsure of something, which is often.
@Seragorn for being an awesome helping hand and always making me laugh. When things get stressful you can always count on him to keep things light and relaxed.
@Kohilo for being the best text kid one could have. Always loyal, caring, and willing to listen. It was great helping him grow when he first started, and he has always been there for me no matter what.
@Josoul, who I really don't know well, but has help answer a few questions for me about exploring when I'm unsure how things work or how certain changes were implemented. I'll probably never be quite as high in exploring as he is, but he has helped me gain a better understanding, and in that I've still be able to improve my score a little bit when I had thought I had hit my limit.
Gotta say, I'm very much enjoying the Insidium and all the hard work and effort everyone is putting into making it flourish in such a short time. The interactions between House members have been nothing short of great.
@Tael: I am afraid I must warn you - Bluef will probably track you down, kidnap you, and lovingly convince you to part with your sword, one finger at a time. And if that doesn't work, one toe at a time.
And if that doesn't work, one hair strand at a time.
Oh, I meant to add this before. @Ayoxele, for an amusing first interaction. Watching @Tesha and @Elazar spar when Ayoxele walks in with @Dartega and says to Dartega, "This is my new protege, Synbest," with which Dartega replies "Hello, new protege."
@Tibitha's avatars are the best thing to happen to the forums since @Ethaya's pics of characters. I love looking at that thread and her avatar image album. Can't wait for Bluef's turn to be immortalized by her talented hand.
I will admit... I jumped a little because the name wasn't blue since
that is how I have Cyrene set up and I thought I was in trouble and
about to get hunted for something. (I also had to double check to make
sure I was in Targossas so that I could stay stunned a bit longer.)
Eminence Orzaansyn I'llur, the Abomination says in Mhaldorian in a cold, monotone voice, "Please excuse me. I have a child to terrify."
Well this makes sense now.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
I wish I wasn't so easily scared! Here I am thinking I am in trouble because I'm talking to Orzaansyn... and then this happens;
The Divine voice of Aurora echoes in your head, "I have heard good reports about your progress within the Dawnspear, Predicant. Keep up the good work."
Took me a second to realize 'Oh hey, She is giving me praise. Yay!'
@Aurora thank you for an awesome praise and for being the first Divine that I have ever interacted with! I was talking with @Aodfionn about it the other day and made the comment about hoping that my first interaction with You is far from You being upset with me.
I still like shrine wars for what they represent, and the universal access to them. Any newbie can join a bashing group, and the exposure to PK through defiling, as well as to the factions' ideals and enemies as they watch the conflict unfold, still make them a great addition to the Achaean conflict landscape.
Plus, sometimes it's nice to just get your autism on and outlast some bitches.
I rave Targossas for being able to raise so many thick-headed, hypocrite, rude and dishonest people I have the opportunity to talk with. Each time I think I heard everything, there is one able to surprise me again on the matter. Thank you so much for it.

Because that's awesome to get to RP with someone from the other side of the tracks. It means you're getting noticed and it's a great opportunity. I want that.

And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
...But you'll always follow the voices beneath.
