A minor rave to @Verrucht for the dawning realization I had the other day that as far as a city emissary goes, there's literally nobody else I'd rather have to help me do the things I've gotta do.

As a side question, is anyone eschewing going for a certain style that would function well mechanically for you, but you don't like the image of?
I don't have issue with the visuals or image of any of the new knights, and I really like the mechanics behind 2H, but as a rule I don't enjoy playing momentum-based classes, so I probably won't bite. Same with DWB. S&B looks great in its endgame, but it looks boring as hell to get there. Always enjoyed the playstyle of DSL knight, so unless there are some glaring flaws with it, I'll be embracing the scimitar.
-- Grounded in but one perspective, what we perceive is an exaggeration of the truth.

Right on. Ideally I'd like to swap between the three edged styles when I want to. DWB looks crazy good for infernal, but I just can't see myself wielding flails or morningstars.
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
Squeaking softly, a swift ghost bat leans her tiny head into your touch.

This Mayasween carnival has been absolutely amazing. I love Randle, I love the apple bobbing, I love the maze, the mini pet, the toys, everything. Stuff like this is why Achaea is such an amazing game. @Tecton@Sarapis whoever worked on this stuff is awesome,
A pale horse rushes into the area before you, whinnying wildly and rearing up before you. The tall, cloaked figure atop it levels a scythe down at you, hooking the sharpened blade behind your neck.
Sheave, the Picker says, "Your end is nigh, paid for by Tibitha. There is no escape from death."
Sheave, the Picker pulls back his scythe with a mad cackle, shaking with mirth.
Sheave, the Picker says, "I truly do love doing that! Ah, it's the little things in life. Anyhow, here. I was hired to deliver this to you."
Sheave, the Picker tosses a giant, frenzied bloodworm plush to you.
Sheave, the Picker says, "I'll return to finish the job when someone pays me more."
Sheave, the Picker cackles hellishly.
Rearing up one final time, Sheave, the Picker whips his mount into motion, quickly disappearing into the distance.
To all the people I got to interact with today that I dont normally see (@Yae, @Atalkez, @Dunn and everyone else at the Festival) you're all awesome too!
I am a bit amused that the carnival prizes are Mhaldorian-inclined. Bloodworms, plague worms, piranhas.. Am totally tickled pink.
Also, I got to stand in a Carnival room with @Havyn today and was asked to play nice. Someone was kind enough to give me their extra tickets to play the carnival games, which made me happy and then @Melodie turned up to give me a Mayaween gift bag with a ghost bat, which I was not able to purchase since it was sold out.
Then, there was the Renaissance deal which saw Mhaldor's long-standing Houses destroyed as we sealed the entrances to our estates forevermore. Kudos for patience on the Garden's part for suffering through our efforts to do a ritual to bind Morimbuul, to move the rest of the denizens out of the Congregation and all the other sections after. Your appearance for Morimbuul's ritual also saved me from pulling a random one out of the wazoo, @Alynna, even though we were both on our phones. Much love!
Thanks to @Sherazad and @Trey for coming over as representatives for the Houses whose leaders weren't able to make it. Aldo, don't forget @Sartan, who popped out to organize the over enthusiastic Mhaldorian rabble and finally, to the rest of the Mhaldorians who joined in for a jolly good time, swinging warhammers and trampling about, messing with the pentagrams.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
Today was such an awesome day! The carnival was such a neat new introduction into the Mayaween tradition, and than all the stuff with the Spires were great. I obviously don't quite share the sadness others have, but I was still taken by the mood of it all. I also got to re-explore Old Thera, somewhere I haven't been in 5+ years, and reading some of the things there and talking to some of the denizens made much more sense now than it did when I did it ages ago. Yay things making sense.
I also got to... lead Morimbuul around on his chains to a new location to be bound, even though I'm not really terribly important. And he tried to lure me to release him and everything. It was so freaking cool!
Then we got to destroy things and then everything went poof and then Sartan popped in and was like "WE MARCH MHALDOR, WE MARCH, SHED BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" and it was just fabulous. Especially the war drums! So much fun, and so much fun to look forward to! I'm definitely not important enough to be doing any of the big things, but my little parts that I get to play make me quite happy. I'm having a lot of fun.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
Much to those who worked on the carnival. It was such an awesome surprise, and I love the items. Just hoping I got all the plushes and doll(s) because they're all way too adorable. The ghost plush is my favorite of the bunch because it reminds me of Skarash that goes way back to some old, minor RP. Although I am also a fan of the neat little piranha and the cotton candy perfume, wish I had gotten more than one bottle of it. Oh yeah, the bats were great, too! Was able to give one to Kadin, and got one for Seragorn which was his first minipet ever.
Rave at @Kadin for talking to me into going to the Masquerade Ball that's later in the week. Originally I was a bit resistant, but I'm quite pleased with this gown I'm making for it, and I probably wouldn't have designed it otherwise. Now hoping I have just as much luck with his tuxedo!
Rave to @Kayeil for all of her hard work planning our wedding and all of the amazing design work she's been doing to make everything possible. She's got me looking quite spiffy. Also made me an amazing description to apply to my RoF for my wedding ring.

This almost makes up for the ubiquitous spider webs and obnoxious every-hour-on-the-hour Periclean weeping.

nvm totally made up for it
