And I actually want to rave for @Cyrene. I legit did not realize Targossas was helping you until about 3/4 of the way through. All of the fighting in the desert (that I was part of) was pure Cyrene, and it was a really fun challenge. Good work all around.

That help stuff started about halfway in, I think. The pure confusion it added on top of an already obscure planning really doomed it to do much from the start. It does seems the most important part of winning the CTF is the planning before the thing actually happens, giving specific roles to everyone and with the right contingency plans.
I thought the flow of events went very well. Ashtan's overwhelming full military presence can't logically be combated by one single other nation.
This is what we do.
I was very impressed by the alliance effort. The hardest part is having ONE guy responsible for making the sudden calls to veilglance, size up, and call the assault force to follow up.
Ashtan has tons of these guys. By the time one fight was done, we all reflexively hit ctf score and start sizing up the next hit, calling out possibilities on CT, agreeing on one and following our Alpha, played today by Jhui.
I could not imagine having one guy be responsible for all this gather/call process. It's too much. And worse, too slow.
Tight work, as always, Ashtan. The houses, especially, played their specific roles to the tee. Ashura run and smash, Occies on flag management, Shadowsnakes and Warlocks on defense. Hot.
Like you ever needed an excuse in the first place. :P
Here's a pre-rave for those delicious classleads and other changes Carden hinted at that I know are just going to make all of Achaea feel like winners. Soon enough.

I'd never really been in a combat situation, I'm still learning, and for the most part found it difficult to follow, but wow! Woooow, Ashtan!
I had so much fun, really really incredibly organised, despite my inexperience, it just had such an amazing atmosphere. Thank you all who participated, hope I wasn't too much of a pain to deal with, and damn you all for almost making me develop a taste for it!
I'm fairly fine with how the CTF went, given what we had throughout the whole thing.
What planning we had basically went out the window when a lot of people didn't show up: with no cata and one propper (lol 20 enemies limit), it was pretty obvious from the beginning that we didn't have a remote chance of winning, so I basically just said fuck it to points and decided to throw ourselves at Ashtan repeatedly, which went a lot better than expected. It wasn't really until past the second half of the CTF that we decided to give Cyrene a hand, and for the most part, we fought as a Targ unit until the very end. Our successful total wipe retard rush on Tasur'ke near the beginning-middle was pretty amazing -- I'm surprised we pulled that off, even if we didn't manage it a second time.
Also, while it was totally an accident, I laughed pretty hard when I accidentally got Achilles to massacre like 10 Cyrenians with breathrain. That's what you get when you refuse to budge on your one million gold fine. >:(
Excuse me, teaching Solii how to obtain a dragon breath to do in @Sothantos.
Do I need to paste your record to remind you why your fine is so high?!

Out of no where, seeing a lot more of it happen lately! It's great you guys, really makes the game more enjoyable for people like me who are bad at grinding and combat. Roleplaying, regardless of how bad you think you are at it, always puts a smile on my face.
I am so very very proud of the Lotus' young ones! They are all doing so well and learning so fast! Kudos to all the mentors and teachers of the Lotus for being such amazing teachers! And to those outside the Lotus that have helped our young ones. I thank you! For that matter! I thank all the teachers of Hashan for pushing our young ones forward! Keep up the good work!
Really enjoying @Jemba and @Ryzack. Please stick around. You guys are fun to interact, teach and test with.
@Ruth think we will be here for a while. its to much fun being the bad guy. Also helps that everyone is awesome to hang out with. This is the most fun I have had with this game in a long time. You guys are great
Truthfully though, I have to thank all of @Mhaldor for the awesome RP we've had as well as all the help we have been given, @Orzaansyn thanks for being an awesome mentor and helping me out! @Carmain thanks for actually making me feel like I'm needed within the city by asking for my help, even if it was just once, you would be surprised at how welcomed that actually makes people feel. @Ruth thanks for letting me beat on you even though it was more for testing purposes and to answer questions, you've been a huge help by actually interacting with me and not being all like "OFF WITH HIS HEAD!" when ever we are talking and I don't call you Tyrannus. Honestly though, it takes two or more to actually RP, and I don't think @Jemba and I could have done the good RP we have had thus far without all of @Mhaldor, @Sartan included even though I've only seen/heard him once.
@Tesha And here I thought that @Orzaansyn was a lot more patient with the novice than I probbably would have been, and not a bully at all. How many times is a true newb allowed to ask "What/What do I do?", get an answer, and not follow through it's allowed to be irritating or warrants a little tough love?
I am amazed I escaped near death while I was on my playing on phone! @kabidal (I think that's his name.sorry if I messed it up) tried to snipe me at crossroads and I managed to run into the safety of the post office. It was a miracle!

Maybe one day Hashan will stop leaving two or three rooms with LoS to Crossroads without guards.

Honestly Targossas just didn't want Ashtan or Mhaldor to win. If Cyrene won then it was good for them. Our plan was to disrupt Mhaldor.
This is what we do.
