    After being away from home for five months and living in a hotel, it is a good thing. I'm a Union electrician so getting laid off happens with every job. This one happened for the best reason: Job complete/Reduction of Force.

    Ward-Kovalev was absolutely amazing. Also had it scored 114-113 Ward, reading internet comments and listening to Lampley/Lederman on the HBO cast was fucking annoying, though. Even brought an "American judges, rigged!!!" angle to things, come on.

    Played (and finished) Flower and Journey on Playstation Now today. Really recommend the experiences to those who haven't played them. :) Was relaxing and brought a sense of peace I've not felt in a while.

    Latest Westworld episode. I mean, episode 8 almost seemed like the season was winding down after the big ep. 7 stuff, but holy hell was I wrong.

    I'm so glad five seasons of this thing are planned, because I can't get enough. Honestly some of the best television I've seen, better than a lot of movies I've seen recently. Hope Hopkins stays on for as long as possible.

    For the longest time whenever we got flat-pack furniture I'd stop by an off-licence and buy a bottle of Jameson or Jack on the way home and make a kind of party of the building process.

    We have since replaced all of that furniture.

    Went out with a friend. It was fun. 

    A week more of work and then I have two weeks' vacay and my sister will be coming and it'll be my birthday. And there will be more social events, which my socially anxious introvert self is trying to adjust to and is somewhat excited about. This sort of makes up for all the seasonal loneliness crap!

    Seriously, I'm normally Scrooge this time of year but it's shaping up to be one of the best holiday seasons in ages.
