You snap your eyes open, the power of the curse building inside you. Your face contorts as you raise an imperious finger towards Gannicus and utter a single word: "Tzantza."
Gannicus winces and stumbles as the skin on his head shrinks and hardens like aged leather. His eyes roll back and strangled gurgles escape his rapidly diminishing mouth as he struggles to breathe. His head withers like a drying fruit and with a final dull "crack," his skull splinters, the shards embedding themselves in his brain. The last vestiges of strength having ebbed from Gannicus's body, he sinks to the floor with a sigh. Suddenly, your surroundings are enveloped in a blinding white light, forcing you to cower with your hands over your eyes. When you tentatively open them once more, you are astonished to find Gannicus alive once more.

Props to @Gannicus for being a good sport about it all, you're learning quick!

Soulcage
He is a coward who has to bring two friends as backup to jump people hunting.

And thank you for dueling them out rather than jumping while hunting! I don't mind dieing, it's just nicer to see it coming and have a hand in either preventing it or learning from it.
The old PK rules went into great detail about what is "defendable" and what actions give "cause" and how many times you can be killed in retribution for an action that gives cause.
The new HELP PK rules have been in place for some years now, and they place the emphasis on justifiable roleplay reasons instead. Someone might have a justifiable roleplay reason to attack you even if you haven't physically attacked them. Also, chasing a raider slightly beyond "defendable" doesn't necessarily give them a justifiable roleplay reason to attack you days later.
The circuit breaker in all this is layed out in HELP GRIEFING, which essentially says that thou shalt not be a dick and make someone's game time a misery.
How did I not know about this? This all makes so much more sense now.
I had some hazy memories of the old rules when I woke up, plus a complicated system that someone explained to me (that I guess they just completely made up). Neither of which seem to have anything to do with the modern context.
One of the reasons I've been a bit standoffish about getting involved in more combat is that the rules of engagement seemed very confusing, but HELP GRIEFING seems pretty straightforward.

You see Proficy at Near the western edge of the Aalen Forest. (1872)
From your knowledge, that room is in Aalen Forest.
Dread Emissary Trokar, Thrall of Mhaldor is here. He wields a simple, Mhaldorian scimitar in each hand. Revenant Taryius, Scourge of the Legion is here. His features are obscured
by a menacing steel mask. He wields a scorched, steel bastard sword in both hands. Zackery, Acolyte of Cruelty is here. He wields an elegant western cavalry shield in his left hand.
A nearby branch is laden with hard-shelled nuts. Exuding umbral menace, a phantom jaguar is crouched here. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground.
The twisted remains of Ayu lie here.

someone with better lua skills can double check that but I'm pretty sure if you put that in a trigger for the exterm line it'll give you a notification once per 10 minutes only.
Channeling your kai energy, you wreathe your foot in a sheath of crackling blue light. Drawing back, you whip your foot in a perfect crescent, aiming for the neck of Someone. Your foot passes effortlessly through neck and spine, completing its flawless arc. You flow back into a ready stance, your foot touching the ground at the same instant that the head of Someone completes its fall. You have slain Someone.
I'm a grook, so I shouldn't have to hold my breath - unless it's more like a kai choke than being underwater. Death came the instant I entered the room. Maybe a reflection would have given me time to touch the shield tattoo.
Crescent is pretty awesome! And brutal! Just needs to have an awesome custom deathsight.
It's awesome until you realize that your target has to be prone to actually perform the kick, making the kill message make no sense.
It seems like it makes sense if you think of it as a penalty kick or field goal (depending on which type of football you're interested in) using their head as the ball. Whether that makes it less awesome is up to you.

I wouldn't mind it punting heads, but it wouldn't send the head flying if it passes effortlessly through a neck, and it wouldn't really be a crescent kick, either.
You can definitely work to make it fit, but both the hit and miss messages (missing involves them ducking) both make it seem like it's supposed to be similar to an IRL crescent kick. Only the mechanics stand out, really.

24th and final(?) honours quest done. So tempted to let the King get poisoned.
Why can't Eleusis be as cool and big as Istarion Maybe if Eleusis gets Shallam'd, could petition to have Eleusis rebuilt like Istarion/Targ II.

@Atalkez is a bro and gave them back! +1
What a softie. Should've sold them and used it to pay for the guards you killed to try to bankrupt us.
Debt collected.
CM LIST IRONORE. I think you are looking for guard not guards.
One step at a time! I'm sure Atalkez can collect more.

Damn Shikudo.
Only orc and xoran to go for the full set of Genocide resolutions!
I think I found Lord Neraeos' Kill Room. I would have survived longer on the Moon.
Shield tattoo and hold breath!
