Oh dont get me wrong, I loved the Sash, but my eyes hooked onto that special prize. This was just after I had agreed to only buy 5 more globes until quite some time. Very likely if I had seen that special prize, or knew it was coming i'd have jumped onto the 15 package.
- (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place." - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely." - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")." - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish." - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."
Echoing across Sapience, a synchronous howl erupts from near the Caspiite reaches, ushering an undeniable challenge.
Anger and calculated purpose clear in their gazes, Daybreak and Nightfall emerge from the shadows near Valho coast, swiftly making their way Westwards.
Invigorated by the renewed strength of the Court of Shadows, the Hounds of Darkness leap from a platform atop the Planetarium in Hashan, disappearing into the skies as they chase after the newborn constellations.
A sudden darkness overtakes the lands, cast by the shadows of the Hounds sprinting across the stars towards their goal.
Teeth bared and flanking the constellation of the Lightbringer from two sides, the duo stops abruptly, tails lowering and their hackles raising in alarm.
The phoenix of the Lightbringer flares up brightly as the twin threat approaches, scorching the Hounds badly. Blinded by the Light and mortally wounded, the Hounds run off into the night, trapped in the cosmos.

(After the long quest of doing Elegnem's task, and then finding the murdered man and locating the thieves that did it, killing one and getting the tome they had which was delivered to Dusk, we went back to Sangre plains)
A figure approaches quickly, dark robes billowing about his
form and a large tome under his arm.
Striding in from the base of the steep rise, Dusk, the
Keeper appears, the Tome of Darkness under his right arm. Glancing around, he
offers a quiet nod before raising the empowered book above him.
A dark tome rises skywards from atop a steep rise in the
Sangre Plains, flaring up briefly as it
reaches its apex and engulfing its bearer and the twin Hounds
of Darkness in an oily black fog
before the mist slowly dissipates - the book, figure, and
creatures vanishing from sight.
You look on in astonishment as Nightfall, Hound of Darkness fades away into the ether. You look on in astonishment as Daybreak, Hound of Darkness fades away into the ether. You look on in astonishment as Dusk, the Keeper fades away into the ether.
Regi says in a deep, tempered voice, "Nice chat."
Shara says with a susurrate, imperfect accent, "Well
then.."
Regi lights a Nairat Black cigar, puffing on it gently to
produce a sizeable cherry at the end.
Regi smokes a Nairat Black cigar casually before he exhales
several rings of smooth smoke.
Wickerwoman Calira smiles broadly and says, "What a
fantastic performance. I could learn a lot from that Dusk fellow."
Kasa nods his head at Calira.
Karren gives Calira a pained sigh.
Regi says to Calira in a deep, tempered voice, "So very
fond of brevity."
(Hashan): Twilight says, "You have all contributed
eagerly, I am pleased. Pleased that you have put aside your ignorance and
opened your senses. That you have grown, and collectively aided Me, willingly
bringing back My Hounds."
(Hashan): Kasa says,
"Hail, Dark Father."
(Hashan): Jukilian says, "Hail to the God of
Darkness."
(Hashan): Ginovianna says, "Hail, Dark Father."
(Hashan): Twilight
says, "Court of Shadows, you are living up to your newfound epithet, and
so do the false religions dwindle. It was to be expected, of course, for there
is only one path leading forward. Open your eyes, and see. Open your ears, and
hear."
You hear a distant voice whisper, "There is time,
stride further into the Darkness and embrace it."
After having calmed my pulse and got my head straight at the fact I was communicating with Twilight, I asked him a question to put all the debating of Shadowmancy to rest:
You say with an Arcadian accent, "One more thing, Dark Father, if I may."
Twilight tilts His head and listens intently to you.
You say with an Arcadian accent, "Recently we mortals have discovered the arts of Shadowmancy, of controlling our shadows and the darkness around us. Tell me, is this power at all connected to your own?"
Twilight, the Dark Father says, "An interesting question."
<pause of forever, leaving me in weeping anticipation>
Twilight, the Dark Father says, "When someone lights a candle at night to be able to read, are you reminded of Lady Aurora? I would trust not. Shadows and Darkness are clearly bound to My realm, but not all shadows are. Anyone can cast one, as you well know and the power that the Tsol'teth wield is indeed different."
You nod your head slowly, trying to wear your best wise look.
You say with an Arcadian accent, "Understood."
Twilight, the Dark Father says, "However."
Twilight, the Dark Father says, "I would stimulate Hashan to embrace the art of shadowmancy and study it well."
Twilight, the Dark Father says, "Such a choice lies with Hashan, however, and not with Me."
"Light does not create shade, Light constrains shade. In the darkness shadows are free." Thus spoke Overlord Gattan'lier 468 years before the fall of the Seleucarian Empire.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
"We don't hate it. It's just kinda...scary. But the world's made of light AND darkness. You can't have one without the other, 'cause darkness is half of everything. Sorta makes ya wonder why we are scared of the dark."
“Shadow is ever besieged, for that is its nature. Whilst darkness devours, and light steals. And so one sees shadow ever retreat to hidden places, only to return in the wake of the war between dark and light.”
Doctor Who thing.
he Vashta Nerada were microscopic beings that lived in swarms, thousands strong. Individually, Vashta Nerada were not a threat. They were very small; the Tenth Doctor claimed that some of the dust specks visible in bright sunlight were single Vashta Nerada or small swarms, not large enough to be a threat to most life. In large numbers, they could strip a creature to its bare bones in milliseconds.
Better description, can't be assed describing them myself. Not very nice things, nonetheless.
