An offshoot of the class of Druids early in the modern age, the Sentinels are equally as devoted to the protection of the forests of Achaea. Unlike the Druids, the Sentinels cannot imprint groves in the forests, and many choose to reside in cities rather than in the wild. As a result, they are much more likely than their Druid counterparts to involve themselves into current world affairs and politics. Although many consider themselves part of communities beyond that of the forestal community, their love of the forests is still the defining trait of a Sentinel.
Ah how I miss those days. Would love to see Sentinels in cities again. Anyway, yep, seems this little gem here hasnt been edited out yet. (Yes typo'd).
Sentinels used to fill that role of 'hunter' and 'woodsman' which are a common sight in medieval cities. They would hunt for meat, furs, etc to fill up larders. I wonder if a future class could fill up this position, now that sentinels are nature only.

Mhaldor (Evil): Apostate + Infernal Targossas (Good): Paladin + Priest Eleusis (Nature): Sentinal + Druid + Sylvan Ashtan (Chaos): Nopecultist others can have that too. Can't get no love.

Alchemist taken away in exchange for 3 classes. Not enough
Make an event which removes mages from nature faction too. Sylvan element control only one seen as natural, magi seen as twisting the natural elements to their devices
Cyrene gets most screwed, and then Hashan because you choose to play Occultist there aware of the prospect that it could eventually be fictionalised to Ashtan only, since it's clearly tied to that faction. Then Ashtan because they only get two instead of three.
But adding more factional classes would be a bad idea. New content being available to everyone will generate more total interest and fun in the game. Would rather somehow defactionalise classes (maybe neutral "versions" of each class with completely different flavor but same mechanics, to preserve RP). Can't see that happening anytime soon though.
I could be wrong, but I am fairly sure them not willing to make more factional classes means they are unwilling to limit widely usable classes (Occultist) to just one faction too.
Though I suppose Babel could do it.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
Man if irl politics get into Achaea, I might just die.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
