Achilles, Blive, Damari (will give a pass here tho since new), Fendrel, Halos, Icarius (this one is kinda sus), Icraa, Issam, Kalogeros, Layta, Niraaeth, Romaen, Saberlin(?), Shirim, Tianondria, Yen.

All 16 (possibly bar the one ?) of these names have appeared pretty regularly in combat deaths the past few days.

I agree there should be some special 'war infamy' status to stop random outsiders killing infamous people, though. Also making infamy on death drain faster if slain by war opponent... Either that, or just make it so soldiers are open PK again, but only within city/defendable area. I'm sure the former would probably be more preferable, though.

Blive got breathrained on yesterday, hasnt raided to my knowledge.  Icarius hasnt raided or defended.  Pretty sure Icraa has been absent for most of the days.  Layta and Tia on non combatants.  Shirim and Saberlin have not participated in any raids that I've seen.  Niraaeth died yesterday walking back to Targ and wasnt even infamous.  Yen is in a different time zone, havent seen her raid but she is probably defending when most of us are asleep.

There are a bunch of people besides that small sample size Santar happened to pull that have been infamous, check around serenade.  

Anyways, the infamy opening up lowbies and midbies to being PKed days later by roving ganksquads or uninvolved 3rd parties is a big flaw in the design that will discourage and punish them for participating.  Or keep the system as is and theres little incentive for anyone to war.

If you fight, you're not a noncom. You might not be a very good combatant, but you're not a noncom. You've had this argument a number of times before, though, so I won't bother reiterating it.

Blive literally died to Mhaldor guards yesterday, and a lot more on the 9th. 20+ deaths in 4 days.
Icarius I said was sus, looking at deathsights. He fights tho.
Icraa has 10+ deaths in the past 3 days. Multiple to Mhaldor guards.
Layta and Tia both have multiple deaths to Mhaldor guards, and Mhaldorians. Tia even got slain by Sartan.
Shirim has at least 6 deaths to Mhaldorians that I see. I said Saberlin was a maybe.
Niraeeth has literally been radiancing Mhaldorians all over, has multiple deaths to Mhaldor guards. She even got your city a sanction. You can even SEE this in your city logs, lmao.
Yen has been defiling, you can again see this in logs. Multiple deaths to Mhaldorians.

You're in the Achaea Discord, my man. You can see all of this if you bothered to read the #Deathsight channel. It's honestly shocking how little you pay attention to your own side.

Um, I've not died once as part of the war (except that one time Mhaldor breathrained a prayer service). Any deaths of mine would have been courtesy of Sartan's curse. Haven't been in Mhaldor in years, so I certainly haven't been killed by their guards. I did throw an atlal once when Targ was getting raided, so I guess if that makes me a combatant, go me!

Tia died to Sartan as part of the resolution to the curse.  I see no guard deaths anywhere on deathsight.  Layta must have gone once when I wasnt around.  Shirim has only died inside Targossas I believe.  Icarius only bashes and forays definitely has not raided. 

Let's pull a different qw around serenade and you'll see how many people have infamy from yesterday's raid (and they ganked a lot of them hard after).  But by all means, its working as intended for making Achaea unpleasant for the midbies (I'm sure Mhaldor has a bunch of infamous people too who cant do anything right now but pk)

Maybe drastically increasing infamy loss if you die to those not affiliated with the war? If you are getting infamy ganked by those you are at war with, that seems fine to me, but if your infamy drains rapidly for third parties?

I’m just wondering if we can have some of these ideas be implemented right now? As it is, I feel like most people will super burn out before the end of the war. 

Not sure if it’s against usual admin doings or whatever but man at least shorten the war a year, if nothing else.

Roving gank squads of Mhaldorians is fine.

Roving gank squads of randoms is annoying and seems unintended.

Maybe war-based infamy? Best of both worlds -- random soldiers aren't open-PK (though honestly I don't mind this) but infamy isn't opened up to unaffiliated random people either.

idk, might've been on someone's enemy list when they were putting it in the logs. I doubt anyone has any logs of it. But it doesn't even matter, because no one was bountied for the breathrain, iirc. just the raids, and youre not on the logs for that.

Sartan legit hates me. Does that mean he'd enjoy if I joined so he could torture me? I'm not sure I want the answer to that.
