Give us -real- shop logs! Not another misinterpretation of features we ask for, turned into something that either doesn't help at all, or doesn't remotely resemble what we wanted to begin with.
Thanks!

Vhaynna: "Honest question - if you don't like Achaea or the current admin, why do you even bother playing?"
Biggest thank you to @Stheno for her patience, for editing, for creative consulting, for a mountain of work she put into it.
It went swimmingly, and I'm really happy both with the performance, and the turnout. Always rewarding to see hard work not go unread, and it was a showing that's still got me smiling.
I had my hopes on maybe placing somewhere on the top three submissions for the Furniture design contest, but I certainly didn't expect to get first place! So exciting
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
Happy to help! Also happy to talk your ear off about the traditional IC symbolism of various color combinations in the future as well... This is my twisted idea of fun.
Additionally, have you read my design guide on forums?

I was distracted by the idea of giant boners (*shake fist Amarisse*) but I'd love to see your winning design. Furniture is still something I'm learning to get a handle on, so I'd like to see how other people put their designs together.

Haha, I'll probably keep asking you random things, too. Maybe bring up a toga fetish or something. It's a lost art, y'know.
I've been reading through the guide lately! I've had a few designs in the works I might show you later.
This year has been brutal. There have been many ups and downs both in game and outside of it. Which is why these thanks and raves are given their due.
Ran for Senate recently. Never ever thought my character would reach a point to ever consider it, but there you go. @Laedha was tough competition, but if I had to concede to anyone I'm glad it was her. Having a friend as a running-mate made it a lot less stressful than it could have been. She was a great shoulder to lean on when that anxiety kicked in. Public speaking oh joy.
Throughout this experience there were countless friendly faces, and those offering support, and interesting questions or comments. @Vhaith, @Ryleigha, @Elyra, @Mroxyl, @Taelle, @Stefana. Just to name a few
My constant thanks and raves go to @Navarr who is always there whenever I need him. It doesn't matter what crazy idea pops into my head, or what endevours my character takes, he is always there supporting me, helping me push beyond limits I never think I'll surpass. Not a day passes by that I don't cherish our friendship.
My eternal rave goes to @Rhalts. Who has been a great friend to me. It didn't matter what I was going through, whenever I couldn't sleep, or there was a lot on my mind he took all the time in the world to hangout, take me fishing, hunting, and made me laugh throughout it all. You are the best. Forever and always.
There are still many others I could list and keep rambling, but I think I'll end it there. Thank you all so much.
"Alas. Alas for Hamlin. The Mayor sent east, west, north, and south. To offer the Piper by word of mouth. Wherever it was men's lot to find him, silver and gold to his heart's content. If only he'd return the way he went."
I was excited to see Jinos running for the Senate, and think it's great that Laedha did so well, too. Speaking with Jinos is always enjoyable and I find myself often checking the Cyrene news board on my phone (usually sneaking around to it while at work) to see what's next. The recent election really shows how opinions have changed, especially for how close it was between all of you. Great job.
@Sphera has an adorable character! Very innocent and pure, but knows when to get serious all the same. Her character is easy to get along with and reacts to external stimuli in a believable manner. Wonderfully played, I say.

Isn't it anime to scream "Ashaxei" every damn time you want to dramatically become a giant flying lizard?
I didn't save the exact exchange, for which I am beating myself, but some time ago @Aegis commissioned Shirz with a silk tapestry for the Temple, and she got to hang it there today
Grand Dome of the Aegean Manor. (indoors)
Formed into a perfect dome overhead, polished panes of obsidian are locked into place with thin strips of sparkling mithril. The surrounding torchlight glints off the reflective stone creating a bright aura about the chamber, every nook and cranny cleaned meticulously so that no dust begins to gather. A pair of immense golden doors lead out of the chamber to east, elaborate engravings covering every inch of the opulent metal. Lavish linens spread across wide chairs situated along the outside walls, reserved for emissaries waiting to meet with the Lord of Warfare in His chambers. Servants dash quickly across the vast dome and into other areas of the keep, a few lone acolytes shouting orders to the passing peasants and pointing them to their next assignments. A war chariot of blackened steel is here, drawn by a pair of great golden lions. A runic totem is planted solidly in the ground. Scarred steel wrenches into a solemn monument, a fitting tribute to the God of War. A small golden plaque rests firmly in the centre of the chamber. A wealth of ivories and scarlet gleams upon a stretch of silk depicting War.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
They claimed victory in the Game of Eyes for 811 AF, their first Capture the Flag victory since Baelgrim's founding.
Can't stress enough how awesome it is to not only play in a CTF, but to win it as well! Huge props to all involved, what an absolute hectic mess that was! My favourite part was panicking to not get jumped by 5 Hashani, only to earring into proficy who got grove summoned. I may have made some mistakes with uprooting as well . . .
I'm very proud of Mhaldor's first (!) ever CTF-win.
It is perhaps ironic that it comes not during the reign of a @Xinna,
an @Alrena, a @Cooper, a @Proficy, or some other Tyrannus who actually knows how
to fight, but instead under a Tyrannus who had very little impact on the actual fights and tactics. All credit to the leaders @Ellodin and @Aegoth, and Mhaldor at large: the salty veterans, the up-and-coming Tronis+, the exiles from elsewhere, the completely new and slightly lost slaves, and to @Sartan for overseeing such a compelling city to play in.
I loved how most of the group was made up of first-timers; either people for whom this was the first CTF I led them in, or people for whom this was really their first CTF. Was a pleasure, people played their roles excellently.
And as he slept he dreamed a dream, and this was his dream.
@Esti for being MoW and leading us around and keeping things from falling apart. It's a thankless, hard job being in charge like that, and putting your ego on the line. It's stressful, too, but you did great.
@Kriex, @Dynos, @Keorin for all their hard work running flags and zipping all over the place. You all made me tired just watching you calling out things. Without you, there would have been a lot less scoring on our end, and some more scoring on everyone else's- so thank you for going above and beyond!
Thank you @Nephiny for logging in to complete the saddest earring network Achaea has ever seen. I'd have been stuck traveling to myself without you making the time to log in, and it's probably narcissism on a whole new level to Sinope to yourself.
I'm not going to tag the other 17 of you (my logs show we had 23 people, jeez) but know that I'm massively proud. From the littlest ones there asking "Where do I stand to snipe?" to the most experienced ones there, you guys stepped up.
Cyrene taking third in an objective game, where the objectives move every 15 minutes, is crazy to me. It's not nearly as impressive as the work @Ellodin , Mhaldor and co. managed, or the (at least to me?) surprise of Targossas showing up so hard, but fending off Hashan for those last, precious few points was super exciting, and being able to get that kind of lead from the very start was outstanding.
We're not the biggest kid on the block. But watching Cyrene grow up has been an absolute pleasure, and I see these sort of events like measuring off how much you've grown on the doorframe, and Cyrene has grown up so much since I started poking around again.
Also a rave to @ellodin - tripping over you in the Ashtan bog and it turning into a crazy melee was like a jumpscare for me.
Really enjoyed the capture the flag event, although I went out and pretended I was a runner a few times. One flag turned out to be planted, fine I'll uproot it ... oops what are all those Mhaldorians doing here haha!
And today, to top it off, I personally had a lot of fun with @Vhaith and @Elon. Maybe it was not much roleplaying in most people's eyes, but I thought it was and I learned so so much about what (not) to do!
While Xallax the character was extremely stressed out, I did have some fun with Capture the Flag, even if some parts were embarrassing, like the 3 city showdown where everyone from every city died.
A huge shoutout to @Esti, @Kog, and @Keorin for showing me the ropes of group combat, and Lorei for the encouraging tells! Really, everyone did phenomenally, and I am especially proud of Cyrene.
Congratulations to Mhaldor! Well played!

Mhaldor did a great job with the hill transitions. I think you guys were a lot more organised than anybody else, and that's the area where that really makes a difference.
Targ ended up losing out on quite a lot of points because it took us so long to get to a new hill and get our flags planted again. Not enough that it would have changed the result but the scores would have been closer than they ended up being.
It was incredibly well led by Ellodin, and also Aegoth. Splitting into multiple groups focusing on different aspects really worked wonders, it was by far the most organised of any CTF I've been a part of.
Congrats on a good showing from everybody though, the numbers advantage also helped Mhaldor win out in the end. Where I felt bad for Eleusis especially who put in a valiant effort given it looked like they had about 6 people

A big rave to @Ayani, @Itkovian, @Seelie, @Keorin, @Kog, @Nephiny, @Esti, @Dynos, @Kei, @Kaden, @Perl, @Phelia, @Dochitha and @Darktalon. Who generally contend with goofiness and inquiries on a daily basis.
@Tasus you are missed. I wish you the best.

I’m a cut above the rest obv.
CTF was so fun, even with the hilarious mistakes we made. Great job @Ellodin and @Aegoth and everyone else that participated!
