Achaean Raves

It took me a few attempts, but I finally figured out a way to get some meaningful Achaea time in between my wild work hours. In essence, I roleplayed a way for me to go pseudo-rogue and stay out of Big Important City Things for a while without actually quitting Targossas. It's the first time since I started that I've really soaked in the world and played the actual game.

The environments, the lore, the history, all that stuff are just incredible. I am so amazed at the admins and content creators, past and present, who have worked together to create the game world and its multiple flavors. Little things I took for granted as I zoomed from point A to point B are really standing out to me as I take the time to take it all in. Not to mention all the varied people who play and make the place "come alive", as cliche as that sounds.

So I guess this is just a general rave for the game and everyone in it!

That was the most fun I've had in the game in a long time! I was crossing my fingers he got picked first for the wheel because there was no way he'd beat anyone to the answer. Fully intended on taking it on the chin but when the last bone popped before my curing fixed everything, my brain went "Why am I not dead yet? Better diag." Thought I turned everything off but that's what I get for thinking.

Well, wasn't on the forums until someone chirped at me about this.

That said, I have my own raves. Nearly begged off of Achaea a couple weeks ago, and instead went the onward and upward route. This is kinda an @Mhaldor rave as a whole. Talk about character development by the droves!

@Anze - Your fault I did this (thanks, you were right).

@Crixos - So patient! Thanks for all the combat tips and just all around RP/conversations/etc. You're a pcool dude.

@Jurixe - Ash is legit in awe of the woman, and maybe a lot bit intimidated. #aspirations

@Stheno - Intriguing character. Always love the interactions. Looking forward to more.

@Zackery - Best Exemplar choice for her hands down. So much push and expectation there. Loved the wheel of misfortune (first quiz I've liked in a while, I generally dislike them).

Sorry if I left anyone out. Everyone Ash has interacted with in Mhaldor so far has been super awesome. Thanks for making the game fun for me again.

Oh yeah, and @Sartan those visions though! Hoo... that was incredible! Glad I was around for that. So worth it.

We tanked three rooms in the Obelisk of Darkness. That was a -sweet- symbolic win, and a needed morale raiser. Props to Hashan for coming to defend and not making us babysit the tanks without a battle, even in an unfavorable situation.

Right back at ya big guy.    This whole experience moving over to Mhaldor has been like playing an entirely new game for me. All of those conversations and walking around feels like Reyson's Emperor to Darrod's Vader. Master and Apprentice. It's been a flipping blast.

That whole morning with @Zackery , @Stheno , and you was nerve wrackingly amazing.

He's TERRIFIED of Stheno and that whole ordeal had me thinking that first execution was coming over getting her the wrong sized boxes that she ended up using anyways!

Absolutely exhausted, just wanted to thank everyone for participating in the joust today. You all know who you are so I'm not going to name any names, but thank you so very much and I'm sorry if I was slow with responses as handling things got a bit crazy.

Okay, maybe I'll name a few. Particular thanks to @Crixos, @Ellodin, @Ashai and @Gror for everything they did to help me make the tournament a success. I literally could not have done it without you.

I was really enjoying all the interactions between everyone, between the families, even the negative ones. Thank you all for all the effort you put into your interactions and characters. It was truly a pleasure to see the keep being able to facilitate such RP. Family RP is one of the things I enjoy most about Mhaldor's social dynamic, and I hope it continues.

This weekend, starting Friday, really, have been an awesome time to take a hone to Reyson as a character, and his surrounding world, including his place in it. New allies, new rivals, new conflicts and a better, funner, sharper outlook all promise a real high in my Achaean experience in the next couple months. I'm excited! 

Mhaldor's a great place to play, even in its frustrations and befuddling mires of occasional paperwork. There really are some awesome people around (and quite a few whom I didn't meet my first go around!), and y'all make playing great.

We all have our favourites, that's just human nature. But there are plenty of great people to go around, for sure, even if I don't have all the time in the world to enjoy everyone's company the way I'd like! 

Bears repeating, though- without @Stheno, all these enjoyable little moments wouldn't take place. This journey's been the most fun! And @Zackery is the snarkiest person to have in the passenger seat. 

@Jurixe put together a stunning event. All that attention to detail, and so much preparation. Infinite admiration!

@Darrod is gonna grow up to be the best Vader. Y'all watch. 

And to all the riders, you guys were a blast!

I have to admit, I have always admired Mhaldor's ability to make anything 'over-the-top'.  That invludes simple ceremonies where people just up their game so much.

Granted this is all as outsoder looking in, but even when Mhaldor was Sapience's towel boy, they still managed some awesome RP stuff.  So...  I guess I'm glad to see that cultire prevailing still.

Popped a message to @Ictinus about a couple of concerns I had with diving. A few seconds after that they forwarded it to @UnnamedCoder1. I'm not sure if they had already been looking at the code when they got the message but within a minute the announce about the fix to the chest bug went out. Super fast fix and I hope you pass my thanks on to them.
