Not sure how Manners it is to post like a guide to beating individual people on forums for everyone but I guess it won't really affect who Proficy can kill
Telling someone how to do something and them actually doing it, aren't quite the same thing!
Same as expounding on serpent locking strategies and "giving the secrets away", but without them actually putting the effort into doing it, it's a moot point.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Not to me I guess. Information is information. To me it was more general tips than a "do this and win". Even still, the things he said should be general knowledge versus monks anyway.

Maybe I'm just viewing it as more the way I'd view it in another game, so that's fair if we just have different perspectives. If someone posted a guide on how to beat someone specific in the street fighter community, for instance, it'd be seen as pretty rude. Same with dota, there was a scandal when someone started giving specific teams analysis of how other teams played at a tournament.
Why does everything here get taken as a personal defence of another player? I'm fairly sure Proficy can handle himself, too, but I can post my opinions about things on my own initiative
I'd be pretty pissed if someone came along and posted publicly strays to defeat me specifically (if I pkd). You say reading how to defeat someone and actually defeating them are different things but there will still be a few people who can/could put this effectively into practice.
I think the post was more about how Exel learned than it was a guide to Proficy. Nothing was really "oh so that's how he does it" and all of those could be posted against most minds.
@Kandra, @Nataliia, @Aerek, @Tahquil, @Reydan, @Dochitha, and the Divine who popped in to breathe a little life into Sir Lance. Everyone else who popped up who I missed, as well (@Edena, for one). Tonight reminded me why I play IRE. Not just the combat, the bashing, and the promotions. Not just the endless possibilities of design, or the intrigue of politics, but the people. THE FUCKING PEOPLE.
Not only did my character come to life in more ways than he has, but he felt at home, and in tune, with his House. The Shield showed its colours, and they were absolutely gorgeous.
I sometimes wondered if I had made the right decision investing in Isra and making him my uber-newb, but tonight? Tonight those doubts were overshadowed by the amazing people and roleplay the community can create.
Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of the awesomeness that is the Shield and Cyrene.

Yeah. I mean, the "guide" wasn't a very detailed description that would really help anyone. But I'd still say it's bad form to just post character-specific stuff like that. Comes off as dickish, even if the same kinds of tips may come up in other ways.
I probably missed a few people but keep up the fabulous work!
I had this problem with Targ too. Clan invites new requirements, unannounced title changes, etc. it seems like fraternization itself is frowned upon. Except in the navy. @Greys is rowdy.
Okk tells you, "You 'woof'ed on a house channel in a conversation with the Lord Bard."
Getting pretty tired of this idea that fraternization is frowned upon in Targossas. Let me dispose of this idea here and now, and no one should be complaining about how unaccepting targ is ever again. If you are interacting with an enemy, and treating them like an enemy, then you are just fine. I don't even care that much what you are doing with them, so long as you treat them like someone whose ideals are in direct opposition to yours.
However, if you are wandering around with a Hashani or Mhaldorian or whoever else chatting about cupcakes and your friends wedding and what you had for dinner the other night, you're probably not behaving like you should be, and damn straight you'll be slapped with a "fraternization" warning. If you wanna act like best friends with someone who, from an IC perspective, should be your enemy, then keep it in tells where its private, and even if I do happen to notice, I'm not gonna give a shit.
Fraternization isn't frowned upon. Acting outside of your IC role for the sake of OOC friendships in public is.
*mic drop*
edit: not directed specifically at you Texel. Just a general complaint that I see on forums every now and then and drives me crazy.

While Antidas might be fine with ooc friendships that are kept in tells, I highly suggest making sure you mark any communication that is ooc as ooc. This includes messages. The fact of the matter is, anything you do is considered ic, unless you clearly mark every single communication.

Boated over to Meropis for the first time ever with Zefarelle, @Jayden, and @Edena. Thanks for the trip! So cool to see new places, and then promptly stab all their inhabitants!

I was mildly disappointed with Targ. One greeting and no conversation before being spammed with clans invites.
@Tecton @Sarapis I love the new intro and tasks.

I think Texel was talking about fraternization with citymates though.
No more lovenest times @Mizik

Looks like I completed it.
Or Taraus, for example. Her and Miz go back like 250 years. And now she is the leader of a city. Same person.
Now, business is still business.
