On the other, one step closer to EXPLORED being a thing
The game as a whole is more in-depth than anything I've ever seen and while exploring it can be frustrating at times, I've quickly become addicted. I'm not sure how much of what I'm able to do is affected by the fact that I won a Veil of the Sphinx on my second day and after much helpful advice traded it in for lessons, but there are an endless amount of things to explore. I've helped kill sea monsters (my role as fire douser against a monster that didn't set things on fire was essential), contribute to group fights (except when people use the stupid brazier tattoo), and hunt the gnolls of Manara almost to extinction (I'm scared to move on, send help).
Mhaldor as a whole has been great and I'm glad to switch cities because the Apostate class sounded cool and I wanted try it out. The only problem is they're so nice when helping me figure things out, I sometimes forget to act with the appropriate slavishness afterwards. I hope they'll forgive me skipping over their titles for this post.
Aegoth is my awesome and distinctly terrifying mentor, the one who helped me transition from complete ignorance into actually being able to ask semi-intelligent questions thanks to his endless patience for both IC and OOC queries.
Medi and Kiet walked me through the theory of how to kill people, how to set it up, and managed to make it idiot-proof enough that I've actually managed to execute it.
Saeva preemptively stole my name but despite being a copycat she's okay I guess.
Oh also, I felt like you were maybe someone coming to troll ... but I've totally enjoyed your presence in Mhaldor. Stick around and get comfortable! We like you!
