We still have the Witches. Seems that the Shadow Amazons and the Knights of the Illuminati were replaced from what I can see.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
What? no more butt pinching? Why else did people visit Ashtan?
I propose that our creepy sireni mistweavers pick up the butt-pinching slack.
Also:
Draped in an elegant robe of midnight blue etched with undecipherable silver symbols, the skeletal frame of this Naxian mistweaver of Targossas hums with vibrant energy, small bolts of light wracking her body. An unruly mass of ash-blonde hair haphazardly frames a face utterly devoid of expression or emotion, and tumbles past the shoulders of a form so still it resembles a living statue. The glacial eyes of this diminutive figure have a wild glaze to them as they observe the immediate vicinity, fervently seeking any foes. Her wrists and lower arms are covered in a plethora of bracelets and bangles. Clumps of a silvery, lead-based metal coat her hands, and her fingers are caked in a gelatinous substance which drips down in fine strands from her claw-like nails. Betraying her sireni heritage, her lips are a rich ruby in colour, and kohl extravagantly lines her eyes.
...when they do the butt-pinching, they should leave a temporary message on your description, like so:
L MORTHIF:
He is a mighty Silver Dragon. <regular dragon appearance> A pair of silvery fingerprints adorns a pinched spot on his rump.

This would cause a lot of angry wives. Though I would just say Melvin did it and he had been working on some silver painting at the time. I think my wife would be less angry that way.
War Witch pinching would be (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) SHOCKING
L MORTHIF: He is a might Silver Dragon. <regular dragon appearance> A small electrical burn mark adorns a pinched spot on his rump.
edit: for those that don't get the joke here's the Witch's description:
Dressed in form-fitting red leather, with her long hair in a single tight braid, this War Witch of Ashtan displays the bored demeanour of the habitually unimpressed. Casually lifting her right fist, which is encased in an iron gauntlet, she idly sends sparks of electricity to dance across her fingers, oblivious to the overt menace of the display.
You know, that one thing at that one place, with that one person.
Sure I'm not the only one that thinks of the Mord Sith when looking at War Witches?

U GAIS! CoMMUNISUM IS BAD! Also Richard lost something, probabbly his fucking sword, or his wife, or both = plot of every book.
Oh wait, except for the one where he shows up in the last 5 pages. How could I ever forget that one.
Oh yes, that one. Isn't that the one where he lost his baby too? Or am I thinking of a different one where he didn't show up for the first half of the book?
Faith of the Fallen was solidly my favorite of the series. Also, it was really a rough series to read my first time through in the early 20s, especially Temple of the Winds. That book destroyed me for a few days.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby

These books are 10 pages long? Even I might manage to get through one! /troll

Finally, I hope I don't break out sweating too much anymore.
Also @Vaine for keeping me entertained with various shenanigans and being an all-around great character. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
...But you'll always follow the voices beneath.

Yea, that one!
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Sure I'm not the only one that thinks of the Mord Sith when looking at War Witches?
He knows what he did.
