@Jurixe and everyone who helped her with running and putting together the Crafting Fair did an awesome job! The participants did great, too. It was a lot of fun, and not a single thing disappointed. Some of the more entertaining bits were the rancid tuna entry and the dragon costume that @Monev wore.
Congratulations! You have been promoted to Legendary Achaean -- Without all the extra points from LOLs etc, I didn't think I would ever get this. Awesome!
I got promoted to CR4 today on getting CF for getting Dragon. Stoked!
I got promoted to AR5 during the Hashan raid, feels good to know you're doing good!
Have to give a rave to @Jhui@Lala@Praxides@Mizik@Dunn and @Ethoas for all helping me on the push to Dragon. That grind is something else, I couldn't have done it alone.
Major rave to @Relics, will have your babies anytime fo sho.
Having lots of fun lately, family and city stuff is going great. Can't wait for the Renn to finally get a House again and start helping Ashtan shed some of the Apathy. Been amazing guys, let's keep it moving!
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Hashan feels so different to what it was, and has been, for a couple of years now. The people currently occupying it are drama-free, engaging, and directed. It's so damn invigorating, you just want to keep on playing.
To @Chris, @Kasa, @Sleik who has been going out of their way to train everyone, thank you. The patience you guys exhibit are noteworthy, especially dealing with people, like myself, that know shit about combat.
To the others, @Kaila, @Ginovianna, @Alcreadia, @Laddio, @Aoghinius, @Sarieno, @Aleotia, @Kaillian, @Rinku, @Hellen (your presentation on the constellations blew my mind) there are just too many to list, who consistently give their all with RP, advice, and a slew of other brownie-point activities, thank you. You're making playing fun again.

This was some crazy logistics nightmare and we had to get scripts written, people roped in, descriptions written, three Excel spreadsheets, and a portal fixed halfway for it. It was insane and there were definitely things that could have been improved on but I really enjoyed letting the players be the show for once. It wasn't about what content I produced, it was whatever the players wanted to give and this event showed what a great depth of creative talent we have. It was a sincere pleasure giving confidence to many of the newer crafters and showing them what they are capable of doing, to breathe new life into a tired trade.
Thanks go to @Skye, @Ruth, @Taraus and @Nicca for stepping up to help me with the voting, emceeing, and logistics, as well as @Xer for working so hard to get the supplies we needed, @Ellodin for being fluffy, because that's his only job in the AR, and @Jarrod for his cart checking script. Amarisse and the Crafting Guild can't be missed out as well for tirelessly approving what must have been over a hundred designs, some extremely last minute, as well as frantically fixing the broken portal at the start. Also thanks to all of the crafters and models who participated and everyone who stayed there for supporting us. It means a lot!

A lot is moving forward with Trevize after being gone for a long time. Some outside my control, but definitely fun (new house, redefined city) and some in my control (finally went runewarden thanks to house changes, got dragon, designing more in tailoring, picking up cooking, doing more with my lottery and heraldry licenses again). No one in particular to name for these, but pretty much all of Hashan. You all rock.
A special thanks to an unnamed someone that has helped to redefine Trevize in ways I didn't think I'd ever see him change. You know who you are!
* Room credits are now a prize possibility! There's never been a better time to start or expand your manor!
* Two different types of potted plants. These are fun little items that provide entertainment to their owner and guests! You may get a potted lycopod sapling, which is every bit as prickly as their larger siblings, or a potted corpse flower plant, whose blooms have a very distinctive scent. These items come in horticulturist's crate, allowing them to be traded between players, and binding to them once removed. When dropped in the owner's house or ship cabin, they'll reset there until picked up (in which case, they'll reset to the owner's inventory).
Additionally, we've randomised the talisman pieces contained within the globes, adding in some pieces from prior events and promotions, both old and new!
SQUEE!
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
@Tecton : Would love to know which talisman sets so I know if I should just give up in this lily or not. T-T
Wonders are still there, and we've added a random selection from the Azatlan, Historical, and Marks sets. I've updated the ANNOUNCE post to include this info!
Azatlan pieces, really? @Tecton if I bought globes and got azatlan bits I'd be pissed. "Hey thanks for supporting Achaea, have some useless shit you can't even give away or 1/256th of the hardest god damn talisman to complete." At least dragon piecs people would want.

Thanks for your feedback! The plan is to change out the "additional" talismans with each refresh, eventually cycling through all of the talismans in all of the sets.

Does this mean that at some point it will contain dragon talismans? Cause I'd just stop buying at that point.

No plans to add dragon ones, they're just all too common.

Conclave bits? Grandmagi robe pieces might just kill me a second time around.
The Hunting Gang, especially @Kelvin@Killian@Kisharo@Ottis@Monev@Leliel@Razith for hugs, group hunts, fishing, cheerleading, encouragement, inspiration, lessons in How to Dragon (to quote Killi, "WIELD POLE. BAIT HOOK. CAST LINE SHORT." - studying up for future ), putting up with my taste in music and entertaining me on plug.dj, and generally being amazing and always giving a shit. You guys are the best.
I have to say that I love that you guys put in a corpse flower. I go to a lot of science sites and when one of the flowers bloom they usually end up putting up a live feed. Being able to have one (I'm going to try to get one) in game is really awesome. It's cool someone in the garden noticed it too! (Not surprising as it was on the facebook bar for awhile.)
I did think there was a funny story to go with this:
"After enduring a slow snaking line early Wednesday at the Denver Botanic Gardens, they leaned over and took deep breaths, hoping they might just need the complimentary barf bags they were given.
Instead, disappointment and a little bit of confusion registered on faces. What they smelled was cologne and perfume, not the smell of a corpse.
It wasn't even stinky at all, by most accounts.
"I was hoping it would smell like rotten fish," said Joni Klieger, 61. "It wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be."
I sure hope your flower is stinkier or people might get sad!
Had a good theological discussion with @Seraya and @Arralana, as well as @Despran and @Xuaco for the earlier parts of the exchange. Also a rave to @Monev, who started the conversation by commenting on the traditional Nihilist greeting. It became especially awesome when Dagon the bartender began to weigh in, so massive props to whomever was puppeting him at the time. Not the first denizen interaction I've had, but certainly the first meaningful one.
An amazing person gave me a lycopod plant as a gift and it is the best thing ever. (They are the best ever, too.) I wasn't going to shell out for the plants even though I really love the idea because I've been trying to behave and not spend money, so this was a wonderful surprise.
I LOVE THIS EVENT SO MUCH. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE THIS ALWAYS. MOAR PLZ
Stop gloating.
