@Xenomorph - for making reasonable decisions and making the game fun, not just for me, but for a lot of people in Mhaldor. I can't imagine what kind of mess we would have been in if you hadn't been here to give people second chances.
Also for teaching me to give people second chances. Mhaldor continues to be a source of enjoyment, even for someone as fickle as myself, which is really a testament to the people playing with me. Don't think i've ever seen the city so consistently active since I joined Mhaldor back in the summer of 69 (2008), and with such a high regard for each other in most cases.
The elitist and venomous attitudes are all but going out the front door and it's nice to see a Mhaldor where people can comfortably roleplay a-holes without anyone getting offended and everyone knowing it is all in good fun. I can't wait for all these events that are being prepared courtesy of @Jurixe .
Would be nice if all our Ministers/Viceroys could be fully committed and active, involved and organising things for people to get involved in, that would be the icing on the cake but I am probably dreaming of fantasy land in that regard.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
I think that more importantly than a blanket policy of allowing people to return, is the clarity and work ethic of the leaders allowing individuals to be judged as individuals. I was surprised to see Mycen walking around, seems she kept her promises and endured the hardships prescribed to her. But from a player standpoint, I'm happy she got her desires, eventually her slate will be wiped clean, its the only way to do business that we'll tolerate now. Lest political corruption and cronyism unfavourably and eternally block her from a fair shot.
She is but one example of a player that is most graciously given a shot at redemption we don't owe them. I take no credit for that. I empower my leaders, and the Naga have the power to decide the fate of their betrayers, with no interference from the government. We can thank the Naga for not just flipping a switch and letting someone back in, but for truly using judicial thought to weigh the pro's and con's of their return. This government has Viceroys with true power, with a leader that empowers them. To those of you thinking of leaving their same tired, corrupt, and played out cities where human emotion and over indulgence are sins of the masses: I invite you to clean your mind, and walk with the kings, rather than lay with the sheep.
I will never lie to you, I have no reason to. God appoints all of us here. He's our safeguard, I'm your safeguard, the Viceroy's are, and so on.
That said, -you betrayers that come home are on your last leg. I'm all about indemnification. This is one government that will take the first stance against the sands of time eroding away one's crimes as they slither back in. Try to apply here when the regime is long gone? Not so fast -the mere opening of your folder years from now will ping an email server in Thailand that will wake up yours truly. Then its beatdown time. Thai cuisine style, bish. Evolution and safeguards stop the bullshit of the past. Everything is applicable to the Seven Truths, thus, everything is eligible for purification, down to the steel wool toilet paper. You think we have text messages for raids? Think bigger. I upgraded from Nextel for CR3 years ago. We're going global.
"But Tyrannus, doesn't stopping corruption and making things equal sound a little bit non Mhaldorian?"
No. Because in this government, the players are motivated to contribute and feel human pangs of "recognition" and that their life has "meaning".
This government held on to the three players that the other government chased off. This is nothing more than manipulation of the masses, the good manipulation, in order to get the best from them, thus increase His troop strength, thus we follow His will. Anyone not in agreeance with this means to limit His troop strength. It means they limit His ability to maintain His posture. This is sabotage.
I have a happy rave again for @Ennylese since she has been taking extra time out of her OOC schedule to help work character development as well as wedding plans. It is always nice to have an RP partner who you can just slip into sync with and play off of without skipping a beat.
And thank you (seriously thank you!) to all the Sirens who have either been victims to or borderline involved with any of or Siren rp ha. It's always more fun when you can be an IC bully without people OOC freaking out over it. So thanks @Vexus for not giving up and rolling with the hazing.
Thanks @Lacertix and @Artanis for being freaking adorable old farts together, I'm looking forward to seeing how the IC friendship holds over the next IC decade or two.
Oh, and I can't forget to give tons of raves for my protege @Limri, for letting me dump all the work in the world on you and you going with it with an amazing attitude both IC and OOC. I can't tell you how much respect I have for people like you who are always more than happy to take on more. You are amazing, and I hope I can live up to your expectations, the second your finals are over we will RP till your fingers cramp!
And finally, thanks @Verily for all the nice random conversations on philosophy and religion. It's always great to be able to ICly discuss some of Eire's less conventional theories.
@Kresslack you are an awesome sexy beast. I'm taking a shot for you.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
I'm happy with the quick moving design queues and that rejected designs now carry most, if not all corrections needed in one rejection instead of many. Really helps with all the last minute, perfect Gala commissions and submissions.
Also, @Orzaansyn for the performance draft, can't wait to see how it flows on the day itself.
@Jovie, you ask a lot of questions but I like answering them. Stick around!
@Tirac. Never disappear again. *waves fangirl pompoms?*
@Xer. Ty for substituting for me in that debate. Too bad I never did hear back from my other scheduled debater. :C
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
@Ruth Sadly I won't be around for the gala because I've hit a busy patch OOC, but sending you a letter with an offer to reschedule has been on my to-do list for a while. Sorry!
The gala sounds like it's going to be so much fun. < rave Sadly I don't get to attend. < rant
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Found myself with a rare two-hour stretch of uninterrupted time to play, and was able to accomplish a House task requiring that amount of time, with @Naomh's help. Much appreciated!!
@Trilliana, depending on how much you enjoy riling V up, should just go anyways.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
To whoever's been playing Dolaron: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for making Linian's attempts at being scholarly, as young as he is, so fun and interesting. Every lead you give him has been a blast to chase down, and all the information is making my little bookworm giddy as all get out. You, good sir or madame, are wonderful.
Conversations, I has them lately! It's so nice to be challenging my brain again, after a long break between busyness and then a week of illness. Do keep it up, and thank you to the couple who have been engaging me lately.
Also, to whomever sent Melodie that poem: Thank you. That is one of the absolute most sweetest, unexpected letters I've gotten in a long, long time, and it really and truly made my day. I only wish I knew who you were so I could give a proper thank you ICly.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
so I was looking through the windows I had open on my computer this morning, and stumbled across the mud let editor, which was odd because I had o recollection of having had it open. Then I checked mud let to realize that I had forgotten to log off when checking messages the day before and had been afk'ing for about six hours, before @Jurixe forced me to put my gold in my pack and journal.
I really am amazed by just how nice that was. I mean, I got a Mhaldorian-toned message to make up for it, but it really is neat just how nice some people are, even in Mhaldor

Most people in Mhaldor are rather nice, if a little gruff to make up appearances.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
I had actually been keeping an eye on you for quite a while and would've gone to investigate earlier, but I was tied up with Gala stuff (and was at work!) I saw you had your gold out and didn't have selfishness so I was like must've been stolen from, oh well at least maybe I can save her from further attempts.
Good to hear you weren't stolen from then! Do be careful with logging out.

Another small addition to the realms, indoor rooms (be they actually indoors, or otherwise roofed or enclosed) will now show after the room name, similar to how roads are displayed.
I don't know if @Kresslack deserves rants or raves, but yay for having stuff to do.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Also, huge rave for @Tecton for all the work put in on Targ, and for listening and responding to our subdivision gripes. I take back anything bad I said, and promise not to bad mouth anything for at least 30 minutes.
