My text-house has finally surpassed thirty rooms. This really shouldn't be a rave - I ought to be crying at the thought of all of those squandered credits (most of which were membership credits or earned through IC means, btw). Nonetheless, I'm excited. Only about...twenty to twenty-five rooms left to go before I have all of the descriptions I've written up (for the main house) finally used.
Then I can begin on the ten-room guest cottage, the twenty-room servant's quarters, and the five-room stables. When I got the idea for this manor, I didn't screw around.
I always suspected that the cityof Ashtan was just the west wing of Amunet's house.
My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!
@Phaestus. While most people probably overlook things like crafting and heraldry, having Phaestus in charge of both has been a real breath of fresh air recently, and the work put in so far has been great to see. These little distractions from the big picture in Achaea are a huge part of what, to me, really make the world feel alive, and I've greatly enjoyed the renewed energy in the projects since Phaestus took over fully.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
Not sure how it's possible to even get 62 credits (seems an oddly specific amount!) but thank you so much to whomever it was! Very very kind and generous of you, if a bit unsettling!
To be honest, I'm pretty terrible. In the years I've been playing I've not really done much of huge note so much as enjoying the ride, and its been a pretty fantastic one. However, I never am or will be particularly good at PVP, I wasn't a figure of great political or inter-house influence and what little I do or did is basically little bits of a much greater whole. Sure, I score an occasional laugh, but there's a big difference between that and having a true and powerful impact.
I love the game, but I don't hold great illusions as to my personal impact on the game, especially compared to some characters who have undoubtedly and forever essentially etched their names on the minds and very history of Achaea itself.
So when I got this, I felt it worthy enough to post here.:
From: Anonymous (name removed since I don't know if you want it on the forums) I... Have always known you as the Finchy I met fifty years ago, but
after reading through these old Mojushai archive I've developed a much
deeper respect for you and your work. Thank you for everything you have
done, and for all the entertaiing Uncyrenian Families games in the
future. I wish you and your trademark eyepatch the best.
Thanks, That person definitely made my day. Thanks to everyone who has ever taken the time to thank me, and my greatest and most sincere apology to those I have not in turn thanked for the work they've done over time. I owe a lot to a lot of people, and for them I say one gargantuan word of gratitude that isn't thanks because I keep saying thanks.
EDIT: Cheers mate? Appreciated sounds a bit stilted Or maybe Good show old chap? I don't know. There really do need to be more synonyms for "thanks"

I'm just so happy I've been feeling like putting the extra effort and time into my role-play. I'm not worried about being judged, or screwing up... and it feels amazingly liberating.
I'm role-playing for myself, no one has to actually even see it. It's kinda like singing in the shower, or dancing in an empty room. You do what you love cause you can't imagine doing anything else.
Thank you @Lacertix for making me fall in love with Eiredhel again. And thank you Serpentlords for giving me the environment I need to grow and blossom as a role-player.
Edit: And thanks @Iocun for being a good sport and putting up with me. I really appreciate it.
After spending credits in nickel-and-dime fashion for years (pipes/quiver/pack/customizations), finally bought a real, major artifact. Sip ring, 10/10, would buy again.
Raid on Ashtan before 1am my time. I you guys seriously.
+1 to that. Relatively evenly balanced. Xli died once, got one kill (rawr uber 11 int choke FTW!). Sorry for killing your bear cub @Terra, but it was an enemy combatant in Ashtan at the time
Hiroma tells you, "I just got to listen to someone complain about your deadly axekick being the bane of their existence." Archdragon Mizik Corten, Herald of Ruin says, "Man, that was a big axk." Hellrazor Cain de Soulis, Sartan's Hammer says, "Your [sic] a beast."

I AM NOT TESHA. Omg.
Terra doesn't carry around little furry creatures. Or wear high heels into battle.

Raids when I'm actually online. Thank you. Can we have some at like 4pm EST? I'm getting ready for bed when you guys feel like coming over to play at 9:30pm.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.

It's okay. People keep mistaking Kafziel for me. And now Kresslack.
The sweltering heat of the forge spills out across the land as the rumbling voice of Phaestus booms, "I want you to know, the Garden reaction to that one is: What?" The voice of Melantha, Goddess of the Seasons, echoes amid the rustle of leaves, "That's the censored version."
