@Xenomorph, @Kyrra and @Lucine for being incredibly supportive. @Shirszae for attempting to show me Mhaldor's sewers, and hilariously dying in the process while I sat and watched while buttering toast irl.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
Return rave for @Jiraishin for said conversation, which I loved, but also for enduring my terrible accidental puns every so often. I swear I'm trying not to embarrass myself, but somehow always manage to! Thanks for being cool with it
This will probably end up a lot longer than I intended, but I've been wanting to post a rave now for several days but haven't gotten around
to it, but since I just posted a rant, I figure I might as well post a
rave to balance it out. Hashan gets a lot of hate, but there are some
really great people in the city that have been working their butts off
trying to better it and they tend to take a lot of crap for it and keep
pushing. There have also been so many Hashani that have supported my
character and the
mischief I can get into, and I really, really appreciate it.
@Ourania
is the best Matron we could ever hope for. Her visits are always such a
treat! And as a player, I appreciate so much that she has encouraged my
character to do what she's best at and help her along the way. @Verily
is one of the very few that isn't afraid to speak up and put the work in
to make Hashan a better city, regardless of how tiring it can be.
@Mannimar is a great friend, in character and out, and he has put so
much work into bettering Hashan and the Spirit Walkers. @Vayne listens
to my sometimes endless chatter and complaints and I really don't know
how he's tolerated it as long as he has. @Illyose and @Tzond are doing a
lot of work to better the city and it isn't always the easiest job! There are a lot more Hashani I could mention, but then I'd end up with an even longer post than I intended. Needless to say, everyone that's made an effort to improve Hashan's image, there are people that appreciate it.
Kait's
family, especially @Kotyonok and @Redwan are the best and I wouldn't
trade them for the world. I've also been enjoying my rare and generally
brief, but always entertaining chats with @Katzchen.
Lastly, all
of Kait's proteges and the rest of the Broodlings have really made being
Brood Mistress a lot of fun and make me proud my character has had an
impact, however small it might be at times, on a few newcomers. Tons of
paperwork aside, being responsible to help train new House members is
something I've really, really enjoyed.

For the most part, I felt alone in my efforts for a long time. I no longer feel like I have to shoulder the burden all alone anymore thanks to you, those you mentioned and others.
I submitted three designs early this afternoon. When I logged in this evening, two had been approved and one had corrections. Within a half-hour of submitting the corrections, I had my third approved design.
The crafting has really taken an incredible turn for the better. I do promise to not write and submit after 2am, the returns are shameful and I will call it crafting nini.
The sweltering heat of the forge spills out across the land as the rumbling voice of Phaestus booms, "I want you to know, the Garden reaction to that one is: What?" The voice of Melantha, Goddess of the Seasons, echoes amid the rustle of leaves, "That's the censored version."
Raves from me go out to @Eiredhel for being a sweetheart and the welcome back @Antidas for the kind messages, @Cesarina for the fun conversations, @Vayne and @Tylor for being my two favorite in-game children, and @Vicious, @Hataru, @Mishgul, @Kaevan@Xenomorph and @Jurixe for being amazing players. @Nizaris, @Xer and @Quei and @Layna for keeping the Congregation running smoothly. @Ourania for keeping my eldest son in line and tossing him to the moon when he needs it. Last but not least, I'd like to thank Harvey Weinstein and Miramax for allowing me to thank the Academy.

I don't understand why players that suffer xp loss won't give hearts. That doesn't make any sense. Unless I'm reading it wrong.

I think they're just trying to discourage people essentially farming their citymates for things. Farm other cities for those things!

Of course farm other cities! Why didn't I ever think of it before!!!

It doesn't quite make sense that you can kill a citymate outside of a city and get a heart, but not inside the city (when they've made an xp loss for killing citymates inside cities).
I think it's more meant for cases where enemies kill a defender in the city, and the defender's city mates then get a heart from the defender's corpse. Still being able to get hearts that way could lead to people voluntarily throwing themselves before raiders and get themselves killed at no xp loss to allow their city mates to farm hearts.
However, as the announce post is worded it -does- sound more like it applies to players who were killed by themselves/city mates and thus suffered XP loss, in which case I agree with Cahin that it doesn't make so much sense.
Alright, yeah, that doesn't make much sense in that case. It'd make more sense if you couldn't get such things from citymates to begin with. Well, more sense for everywhere but Mhaldor and maybe Ashtan.
Again, I need to rave about Hashan. I have been trying harder to really push Hashan forward grass roots style and have had quite a few awesome conversations with citizens, as well as returning and prospective citizens. Almost feels like everyone is slowly starting to get on the same page.

Things must have really progressed by leaps and bounds since my departure.
@Dragonknight, ilu. Thank you for going spastic over extracting and transmuting. You're my go-to guy for alchemical cures, aside from @Domatus and it makes me bunches of happy that I can worry about one less aspect of shop stocking. Now, more tuns?
@Kaevan for ship-related activities (mainly paperwork, kek). But it's good to know that you know just as much basic ship stuff to be of help if on board.
@Aepas, that's my figurehead, not yours. Thanks for keeping me company on the ship while I'm diving and fishing for goldz. Going alone is booooring.
@Xer, hint hint at the above. Also for watching LoL with me and trading comments while watching it. You should sleep less so you can stay up later to watch the second pair of groups!
@Xenomorph, hope you're feeling better, man. Sucks that you missed the Gala, but despite all our disagreements, glad you came back to check in on Mhaldor immediately when you could.
@Jurixe, don't think I raved at you for the Gala festivities and features yet.
