    Exciting raids? what are you talking about. I remember waiting an hour for something to happen, moving one room and dying instantly.

    The first 5 hours of the Targ raid was pretty fun, and the first 2 hours where we retaliated, but after that it was the sit-and-stare game =( 

    Targossas vs Mhaldor is shaping up to be an epic battle, though, and I'm seeing a surprising and pleasantly low number of ranting from either side. It's awesome.

    It's probably because no one is holding back, so no one can complain without being more of a hypocrite than usual. :P

    It's probably because no one is holding back, so no one can complain without being more of a hypocrite than usual. :P
    It's really good to see the conflict escalate without weird hurt OOC feelings about being victims of griefing. I thought I'd become thin from not seeing rants but somehow I'm surviving!

    Yeah, really good to see that everybody's staying positive about it. By all means, if things do start going overboard from Targ at least, let me know and I'll do what I can to keep things reasonable and enjoyable for both sides.

    I don't know how good the Targs ganking teams are, but the Earionduil/Bonko/Thiev backstab/earring combo is a beautiful thing to behold. I'd probably die a lot more if I went out hunting with any regularity, for sure, but I rather dislike it. I still like the WoW style of gathering 15 boar asses style of quests more as far as killing a lot of NPCs go, at least you get a really shiny thing at the end.

    Can't you argue that since they're ganking/jumping without asking for duels it goes against what the Maldaathi see as honorable conduct and can in turn jump them (alone or with other knights?)

    From the exceptions I was given, it'd be pretty borderline at best... They seem to be: bloodhunt, defiling (like defiling now, or defiled just now then ran) and raids. I don't know, that's how I interpret it, and how I've always been told. I realise some knights see it differently, but the 'no ganking' rule seems to be pretty solid. I'm not sure how Tirac justifies it. I've been told to just stand and watch if someone jumps someone I'm hunting with. (if it's a group, we can join in to even numbers)

    I did accidentally gank Carmell the other day. I felt awful. :( It's just a sucky form of combat, no matter whether you're allowed to take part in it or not. I didn't realise we were hitting a solo target outside the city, then spam, then he was dead. :/ Then I left the party. I think he's tried to gank me at least once, maybe twice though, so I guess not so bad there.

    DK spends all his time gathering minerals, and refining them. The most he does to help raiders is empowering, and rezing. (and everyone knows Mhaldor doesn't rez, we spear/offer corpses!)

    Yeah, I know that now. But seriously, tell me next time if there is one, no one informed me until I found out thirdhand ages after. Otherwise, there's no real way for me to magically discern who was actually there or not when I readlog, especially since the lists are so huge.

    Yea, I didn't say anything because I didn't know I was enemy'd for raiding either until after you guys jumped on me. I figured I was just enemy'd for being a Mhaldorian. Not hard feelings though. Was slightly miffed I didn't get to continue extracting, nothing seriously. Not sure how I even got on the "list" of raiders.  :-j
