@Anaidiana she's going to be stunning when she gets older. Those eyes and that pretty pout are just adorable.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
I am starting to picture @Sarapis as a bit of a Sean O'Connell from the "Secret life of Walter Mitty"
Those photos are amazing. I fancy myself as a bit of a cameraman and lightroom geek, but I have mostly done portraits and group/sport photos etc of kids I work with through the schools and community projects I am involved in.
I really want to give scenry/wilderness photography a go.
I love "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." One of my favorite movies of the last couple years.
Spoiler alert. Stop now if you care.
I seriously tear up when he sees himself on the cover of the final Life issue. That's an amazing moment.
Yeah that movie was a surprise hit for me. I went in expecting a typical Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig, probably B grade comedy, and came out thinking actually that was a surprisingly great movie!
If anyone here hasn't seen it I would fully recommend putting it on your must watch list!
I've seen it before, but the last couple of posts have me wanting to watch it again. Definitely agree that it wasn't quite what I expected, but ended up being so much better.

I really recommend the short story version. While Ben Stiller provided an excellent rendition, I felt the written version explored his emotions a little deeper.
Haha that will change eventually. Currently my wife and I live in a (not super tiny, but not very large) 1 bedroom apartment, and we both work about 60 hours a week (we both work for the same company), so it's hard to maintain a pet without a real backyard. I could get a cat...but honestly...I HATE cats. (prepares for the onslaught of ridicule)
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool Or a coward Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both For a wounded man will shall say to his assailant "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven" Such is the rule of honor
I had a freaking fantastic time at the All Worlds Collide - World's Faire up in Fort Collins last weekend, and here's a few of my favorite shots. We were the cool camp so everyone kept stopping by and hanging out.
We built this small enclosure for our camp. 8 of us slept in that old 50s military-style tent. The other two had the luxury of staying in the mini mansion.
The group known as the Mountain Miscreants like to custom build their own cars. The truck in the back of the previos pic there is known as the Mountain Miscreant Mini Mobile Murder Mansion.
This is the Buggy
Here's Tetanus.
And the Chimaero
And it got waaaaay too hot for me to wear all of my armor, so I just stuck with the mask and pilot suit.
And this is possibly my favorite (and edited) pic of all time.
Here's the original!
I'll probably be shifting over to Starmourn, seeya there! discord: aciidwire#5240 Please check out my new art page!
Man, @Kasya, you're making me homesick. I forgot how lovely Myrtle Beach is.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
@Mayapple and I had fun hanging out with @Aerek and @Wessux on Friday. Wes was in his dress blues, so he and Aerek decided to recreate the famous 'Kissing Sailor' picture.
Figured I'd post a few pictures from my adventures before the snow starts to fall.
Quick disclaimer: I am no Sarapis photographer, please forgive my Iphone camera and I.
This was a lookout we found above the Hyalite Reservoir. Nice spot.
Quick hike up to Palisade falls. We managed to climb up the sides to the top, quite a lot of fun.
The view from stormcastle peak, a good couple mile hike with about 2300 elevation gain. Nothing crazy but it was still an awesome view.
Probably my favorite view of all of them. This was yesterday when we headed out to Lewis and Clark Caverns. They were closed but we managed to hike to a small mine (unfortunately grated off), but the drive and surrounding area were spectacular. It felt as if we'd jumped back in time.
I hate this cat, most annoying thing to live with -ever-. But due to the majestic nature of this photo, thought I'd share.
Exelethril ever work with the Neuroscan caps? Got one for the lab for researching multi-robot formation control, though I haven't had time to play with it (outside of building a Linux dev environment for them in 10 minutes after they've spent a month trying to get a Windows dev environment set up, only to have them reject Linux because its... Linux, and they're not programming dudes)
