@Borivoj ~ my problem is, I never need a push. I just keep bringing them home
Common at dinnertime:
Both of those boys are also rescues - the one on the top, a supposedly temperamental seal point himalayan came from the pound (found beaten up with multiple issues and a once-broken paw that wasn't set right, so his toes were crooked), the bottom is pair of a brother-sister Turkish Van pair rescued from a kill shelter last fall (he's completely deaf, and was very reliant on his sister through his kittenhood, so they couldn't be separated). I love all animals, but I'm a complete sucker for the "special" ones.
(According to the shelter, his name was Goodman. He and I discussed things, and have agreed that Thud will be his interim name until he tells me his real one.)
@Taraus Awesome, so many special cats! Yeah, I volunteer at a cat adoption place down the block every now and then, and I'm always wanting to bring more home. Unfortunately, since I live in the middle of Seattle, my apartment is the size of a shoe box and so my wife has been hesitant about us adopting another. @Kasya That's so cute! They have their unique ways of getting attention. And yeah, he does look like a Burmese.
After ten hours, lots of rain, some flash floods... We have made it to the ocean.
Oh what? You drove by me to go to the beach and you didn't even stop for an invite. Our friendship might be over(if we aren't friends, disregard. I am a terrible judge at relationships)
A picture of the Baby @Silas, who is slowly growing up. I present the model that is Tanner Silas Guinn, nicknamed Smiley, future Dawnlord of Targossas. @Aurora and @Deucalion could not ask for a better servant!
Today I said goodbye (temporarily) to an old friend. One who's been there for me through thick and thin, rain and storm. My F-250. It set out due to repairs interrupted for a while, and now has to be moved to a more appropriate location until I can get the money saved up to drop another 460 in it. Then to save up for a new bike. #thestruggle

For a sec I thought this was going to be an @Halo post 'cause his little guy is named Silas, too. Apparently choosing the name Silas results in adorable little baby boys. Who knew? He is super cute!

Maybe i should post a picture of me in a bowler hat, drinking tea and getting my umbrella repaired to counter this.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool Or a coward Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both For a wounded man will shall say to his assailant "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven" Such is the rule of honor
Stepping away from the Cats and Dogs (I don't have any pets) I'll put up this photo of my recent wedding!
Also, apparently I don't know how to post a real life sized photo!

Was in Mono County on the east side of the Sierras for a couple of nights last week. Took some pics! The one of me is in the ghost town of Bodie, and the not-so-great picture of the vertical rocks (that looks to me like Superman built his Fortress of Solitude in the forest rather than the arctic) is of Devil's Postpile near Mammoth.
I am starting to picture @Sarapis as a bit of a Sean O'Connell from the "Secret life of Walter Mitty"
Those photos are amazing. I fancy myself as a bit of a cameraman and lightroom geek, but I have mostly done portraits and group/sport photos etc of kids I work with through the schools and community projects I am involved in.
I really want to give scenry/wilderness photography a go.

Her 'leave me alone, betch' face.
Nightly ritual of trying to eat with dogs around.

Is it safe to say this thread has gone to the dogs? :P

Edit: wait. What beach?
There are five outdoor hot tubs?
