You lucky bastard.  Have you ever fished in the glacial lakes in Cali/Oregon/Washington?  I still remember pulling pretty little trout of tiny brooks less than a foot wide in sub-alpine pastures in Norcal, and of course, the lakes themselves.  We also fish at our place on a river in coastal Norcal.  I never mastered fly fishing though
