I finally got 2 things that I've wanted for a long time...

An Aeropress coffee maker (since I don't drink a full carafe of coffee a week, most weeks, and I'm the only one that drinks coffee- less coffee going to waste!)

And a pluck egg yolk extractor:

now I want to make meringues :3
That egg yolk thing is pretty cool...but you get the same results with a regular plastic bottle...

  • Obligatory joke about fruity drinks.

    Hope it goes well, Berenene.
  • High tea stuff like cucumber sandwiches, cupcakes, lamingtons...preferably rainbow coloured or in purple. I may or may not have asked my flamboyantly gay friend the way he did it last year for his parents.
"Faded away like the stars in the morning,
Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,
Only remembered for what we have done."

  • I had considered mud cake but then thought that may have been a little on the nose.

  • JonathinJonathin Retired in a hole.
Serve coffee with coloured sugar cubes. Arrange said sugar cubes into a rainbow on each saucer-plate-thing. Also, 'brownies' may help lessen any tension.

    Just saying.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.
  • So what did you serve for tea @Berenene?! (yes you can tell my main concern was the food and not the topic).
"Faded away like the stars in the morning,
Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,
Only remembered for what we have done."

  • I ended up with jam tarts, melting moment biscuits and Viennese biscuits

  • Oh splendid choice. Works well and simple.

  • All packed for holiday. Practicing my German (haha. :( ) for a week in Switzerland.

Minor rant that no Achaea or computer in general, which means no writing.

On the other hand I have been promised 'rewards' for going karate halfway up a mountain. I'm thinking Kosokun Snow might be the best pun I can come up with here. :/

I got a lot of money, time to buy munchies and credits! :D
Remember your favorite Peak when you think of this month's promotion ;D ;D ;D ;D
  • @Eld you are the fourth person to post that video...
  • @Berenene It's actually a rant in that he won't be ginger.

Very welcome distractions while at work.
