@Synbios: You'd think so. They kicked me in the feels and bound me from being evil. Now I feel awful about accidentally getting people killed and life is boring.
How do they bound you from being evil, anyway? Is that like an enforced peace-ing?

It was traumatic and involved kittens. I don't want to discuss it. @Verrucht can verify the world would tremble if I ever went to the dark side again though!
Seriously, phone quoting is making me twitch -_-

To the lady on the phone at Telstra, I love you. So very, very much. I realise that your colleagues are assholes and they never intended to phone me back tonight, despite vowing that they would. There's a special place in a demonic dimension for oathbreaking Telstra workers and the universe will take care of them. S'all good.
It's 8:48pm. I have shiny new phones installed. They work! I have a new modem. I got to spend the afternoon flirting with cute IT guy who apparently has a GF but that's okay. I was happy flirting with the phone tech sorting the phones out too. @Trey might have a rival for pretty blue eyes More importantly, I have interwebs again, and now I can do the three commission statements and weekly advertising that are so overdue. The guy at the News place was very gracious about things breaking on a Wednesday like usual, and despite terrible deadlines, has allowed me to send everything in before I leave tonight because I assured him that my boss won't be making the last minute changes that he's so fond of doing, so I should meet the final deadline early tomorrow afternoon on time.
@Dunn, @Jarrod, @Jhui, @Nemutaur, and @Triak are all super awesome and deserve raves in the other section. You make Ashtan feel like home for me, which keeps me active and doing the things I enjoy doing. :x :x
I am hopeful to be home before midnight but I'm happy to settle for a great night after a truly terrible day.

Got my dates for exam re-sits, they don't clash with the holiday I'd booked back to Italy so, a) I don't lose money, and b) I get to go see my godmother, go back 'home' and spend time in Mediterranean sun with fresh grown food and wine and yaaay! I'm so happy!
I played the piano for the first time in a year today. That was fun and not so fun murdering LvB's Fur Elise over and over with my horribly rusted rhythm.
Public holiday for the Royal Darwin Show. I spent the day at home, in bed, in my PJs, absolutely delighted that I didn't have to go to work. Because every Friday night results in me leaving the office around midnight.
I got about eight hours of hunting in over the whole day, and almost made my level.
And the furry boy child didn't kill my kitty when my kitty ambushed him and hit him on the nose while I was making lunch.

Yeah, but the downside is that it was for the Royal Darwin Show...no one wants to go there. The Royal Melbourne Show, now that's where it's at! :P

It's actually quite a decent turn out. I went every year when I was younger and I've always enjoyed the exhibits, arts and crafts, demonstrations. An old work colleague is showing her dog there this weekend. It's just a nice occasion for some family fun and things to do during the Dry. It's not like there's a lot to do in Darwin for locals when mostly everything caters toward the tourists. If I didn't have other plans this weekend, on top of being exhausted from work, I'd definitely be going

So excited to finally be going back.
