    I donate blood when I can afford to not be paid, which is more recently. Otherwise I selldonate my plasma and receive compensation for my time.
    I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.

    My school used to organize yearly blood donation drives. However, I can't donate blood at all. I'm too skinny, and fall far below the mandatory weight needed. D:

    @Mishgul Good win!  Pacers' offense was terrible towards the end, but at least you're not down 30-love (that's how playoff series are scored, right?).

    I'm not allowed to give blood because I'm so iron deficient, the doctors told me I would end up needing it re-circulated back into me anyway.

    That and the malignant tumour I once had renders me a permanent no-no for blood or organ donating. Yay no more guilt!

    I've no idea what my blood type even is. It wasn't recorded on my birth certificate and they didn't need to give me a transfusion when I got mangled by a car.

    Judging at the Grand National Tournament for the NCFL (high school speech and debate). This kids are so talented and awesome! Even after six years of judging, I still love it.

    Today, we ran on someone who was moving out of our apartment complex. She had a hard time throwing her stuff out since she had to leave everything behind, so we offered to get some of her stuff and ferry it to the nearest thrift shop.

    Feels good to help, man!

    Finally back in the right state, after spending five days across the country playing chaperon to four highschoolers. They were well behaved, but it's nice not to be in charge.

    So I was feeling super bummed out and about to cry because I was cleaning my room today and found an old dog toy (Maggie died in November around my birthday, made a rant about her and there are pics of her in the picture thread). My boyfriend called me while I was playing league to keep my mind off things and ended up super flipping out cause... things weren't going perfect. 

    So I told my boyfriend I was feeling lonely since I won't see him till he comes down to visit in June, I was to sick to drive or fly to his graduation party and the other stuff. So after he got back from his Expo he called me on skype and wore a teemo hat he bought (and I have plans to steal) while serenading me on his flute and playing me random themes from Final Fantasy, which FF is actually how we met and he's the one who taught me how to play League of Legends. So it was so sweet, almost brought me to tears (Again! I'm such a crybaby).

    Oh so lucky! I started speech and debate my freshman year of college. Best four years of my life, hands down. So much traveling, research, and meeting new people. It's always a joy to see how much people pick up and how they (usually) blossom under the pressure. Keep up the great work, high schoolers need more people willing to put in the time and dedication to encourage them to experience new things. I wish I had gotten that in Highschool, luckily my college had a great program so I joined asap.
