Finished making a game in RPG Maker after derping about for 4 or so hours. ^_^ I'm pleased with the results.
Now back to trying to figure out how to code amazing windows.
Ah, the RPG Maker brings back fond memories of when I was first learning to program... Which version do you use? Is it a serious project?
Right now I'm using RPG Maker VX Ace the one I finished derping around with was just for a competition between me and some firends. Working on a longer term serious project called Geosceaft and it's a strategy world builder rpg game. ^_^
As for the windows, that's also something somewhat serious but not related to RPG Maker, I've been learning how to code game engines and stuff... @_@ figured I should keep my brain busy while I'm on medical leave from school.
Six months ago, I anticipated being somewhere else with someone else, and having the kind of celebration that would create lifelong awesome memories.
Instead, I'm still here and naturally, I had to work exceptionally late. I don't get to celebrate at all, and that guy who prompts about 80% of my workplace rants? He gave me a huge box of Lindt chocolates and I feel terrible for every time he's riled me up.
And while this could pretty much be a rant post, I have reasons to rave. I've ascended to the rank of Spinster!
I have some pretty awesome people in my life, and I've spent a large amount of my day telling them precisely why I consider them to be awesome.
If I lived in New Zealand, my IG birthday would have overlapped my IRL one. That would have been pretty awesome too.
Thanks to everyone that made today special. :x

Supporting your team is a good thing, I just think it will be rather difficult. I don't care very much about the Eastern Conference at this pointever because they suck but it would be cool to see the Pacers pull the upset. Spurs-Grizz game 2 today, got my own team to rally on. Which reminds me that I forgot to wear one of my team shirts today. This would be a rant, except I only reaaaally care about that for the first/closeout/elimination games of series. And I finished laundry at 3 AM or so this morning. I'm making excuses for myself, such a fairweather fan.

That happened to me once. I was stupidly excited about that.
I was only two years IG out from being 300 years old on my 30th. It would have been stupidly exciting >.>

Office colleagues starting rumours I'm seeing one of the guys in Tracing team. This is hilarious because I'm the only one who knows he's gay

My last few hours in the US. Sitting in the lobby waiting for my flight to board, watching the Bart cars ride off into the sunset. Part rant, part rave.
I'm sad to be leaving, wish I had more time to spend here with the people and exploring the city which I didn't get to do much of. Looking forward to having my nice big bed back though.

I just got approved to work from home 1 day a week!
I pretty much make my own schedule as I am salaried, so I sometimes work early or late (or both in the same day depending on what is going on) but the work from home thing is a whole other animal.
Duncan making All-NBA first team (fifteen years since the first time!) along with CP3, Kobe, LeBron, and Durant. The other first-teamers the first time he made it: GP, MJ, Karl Malone, and Shaq. Talking about spanning generations of players. Maybe get the fifth chip too!
Oh, and on a personal note, I got whacked in the head really hard yesterday playing basketball and I was feeling a little woozy for a fair bit of the night. Today, nothing's hurting (excluding muscles) except my left ankle and left knee. By extension, getting hit in the head makes me feel better.
And as he slept he dreamed a dream, and this was his dream.

Being self-employed, I'm often wishing for the exact opposite. I sometimes wish I had a normal 42 hour week with fixed hours, fixed pay, and a boss to tell me what to do, so I could just concentrate on doing my job and relaxing in the evening/weekend without having to spend all that energy on personal organisation and motivation and keeping myself from wasting my time playing Achaea and stuff. I'm so bad at the whole self-management thing.
I have the utmost respect for people who have nobody to account to but themselves and still manage to be productive all the time.
So, you're dating a gay man? I know a few women who would like to know your secret.
By showing complete disinterest in them, or the other way around by mucking around with them like you've known then forever
To be honest, I get picked up by more lesbians and gay guys than straight guys
