What happened to the idea of grandfathering tailoring, jewellery, cooking in?
It happened in the form of "you can still craft all your old designs without taking the tradeskill, and only have to relearn it if you want to make new designs".
Forging levels, how do I check these? Also, is fieldplate still meant to be in armour-smithing? I'm pretty sure it was said to be going away. I just wanna know where I sit with forging prowess XD.
Oh... and how do we get this permit to get a third trade skill?
When Canada rules the world, things will be... nii~ice.
First, will you post somewhere a list of all the ABs of all the trade skills? That way we can review them and ponder them a little bit before making Big Decisions(tm). Especially since several of them have had minor changes.
Second, harvesting, can I do it as a Mhaldorian or not?
Thirdly, I know the 'grandfathering' is the shears/etc, but just to be absolutely clear on whether this is correct or not: Tailoring, Cooking, and Jewellery are all affected by the increased lesson cost need? Do we need extra slots, as well?

Oh right. Traits. Do we get a free reset if we have a trait we can no longer make use of, in the event we're not getting back a tradeskill we relied on it for? For instance, forgers with master forger not taking up forging... or in my case, master gatherer since I'm not planning on re-gaining gathering? (in my case, I still have a trait reset, but what about those who do not?)

Everyone got a free trait reset, assuming you had already used up yours, already.

Correct, and yes.
I 100% understand the increased lesson cost, but I am a little iffy on spending 50 credits on top of 200 credits. I do very much understand the shears and such are an excellent compromise, please don't get me wrong. But doesn't that seem a bit expensive?
Would you possibly re-consider letting the license automatically buy you a slot, but the increased lesson cost still being a thing?

Welp. We need mercenaries or something for me to waste the gazillion lessons I now have between membership and this refund.
Perhaps some way to spend lessons on learning multiple classes at once...
Doesn't really help with the way I used those skills. Can't use the bloody things on the public NDS or repair stuff that was running out, so I had to go and get the skills back again cause the other things were kinda useless. Looking at a 4164 lesson cost just for those, plus the additional 2082 for gathering. Joy
And that's even without the 1386 I had to use to relearn enchantment

I answered this in-game for you, but no. The license is already extremely cheap from our perspective, since you're buying one on one admin time with it.
Found out how to trade in token, what do shears do?
Let you craft any of your existing tailoring designs forever without the skill. New tailors won't get the shears, to pre-empt that question from whoever will ask it!

This makes me a bit sad. @Ruth destroyed my dreams on the second question, though, and now I will obligingly complain quietly to myself so the admin don't have to hear about it.
Edit: Definitely still curious and interested on my first question though.

Does forging require a license now or do we just go to Delos to pick this up? (sorry if that's already been answered somewhere).
Also, will we be picking either Weaponmithing or Armoursmithing specifically, or are they both essentially part of Forging still and you just pick which one you want to specialise in?

This is an interesting and IMO quite generous solution. Kudos whoever came up with that.
