Woke up this morning, saw an announce on my tablet, and got excited. Bardics . But it's okay Admins, it's a lot of work to do this stuff and I bet it's worth the wait!

So the weapon proficiency token we're getting for having the rapier prof, will that teach us whatever proficiency we want on the spot, or do we still need to go to a proficiency teacher to use it. I really don't feel like tracking someone down to get me into Hashan just so I can pick up warhammers
Be a man (or if you're Betty White, be a vagina), I already did it and yelled things in Hashan while learning it. Softfocus didn't stop the totem tho...
Hopefully the admin silence in this thread means they're busy getting it done. I have the next week off and I'd like to get most of that time to play with the changes.
Or it's still the holidays and down time is expected. With the number of post-release issues they'll probably have to deal with after a huge release, it's probably best they're waiting.
I'm just glad 2015 finally means the first stages of multiclass. 4 new classes, a dozen tradeskills, with more classes just a couple months out™.

Yep. It's already done, but as it's the largest single change to Achaea going live at once (barring when the code first went live), there are undoubtedly going to be lots of issues, and key team members are still occupied with holiday/familiy stuff.

@Sarapis@Tecton I feel an important question was forgotten here. In the case of enchantment, will they still need ouroboroi? If yes, will the enchantment rooms be moved out of house improvement territory and be moved, as base, to a public city room? (Similar to the alchemy labs)
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
as the renaissance happens I think the new houses share a common resource area (forge, MC, milking room, ouroboroi) Or maybe that's just Targ?
Cyrene has a hub too, as does Mhaldor from what I recall reading. It usually is a converted House estate from what has happened. House-only though. There's still that public ouroboros though?

I think they may set up these facilities in Delos too when they make the changes.

Correct, they'll all be in the city resource hub post-renaissance, and there will still be the public ones in Tasur'ke

You'll still go to the trainer and learn as normal, you'll just pay with the token instead of the 100 lessons.

Will houses get an accurate refund or only 1m per? What about non city houses?

Will the trainers will be outside of cities though? I think Hashan still has two proficiency tutors in its midst?
Will there by any other ouroborus added as well (since some of us are enemied to Hashan and Tasur'ke is a village allied to Hashan)?

They're relocated from the houses to the city hub, so nothing lost there. Non-city houses will still have the resources available in their house halls.

Relocating tutors isn't a part of this project, but it's possible it'll happen in short order.
No plans for additional ourobori to be added at this time!

I don't mean to be a dick, just curious. Will there be any compensation for non-city houses that spent between 2 and 16 million gold versus cities that get enchantment rooms for free?

They don't get them for free! If they had them previously in their househalls, they were moved across to the city's resource hub. If they didn't have one between the houses, they weren't given one.

I am uncertain how this accurately represents the possibly 16 million gold cost. If any house in the city had one enchantment room, does the city get a free one? What if they had two? How much gold would it cost for a city that didn't have a house with an enchantment hall to get one? (Hashan, since the Merchants left)? Will the city price reflect house costs? Each house improvement costs 2m for the first, and doubles thereafter. City costs are usually double house costs.
I am very very glad that the Mercs can keep their enchantment rooms, but this seems like cities are getting a buff and non-city houses just have to deal with sunk costs.
I'm uncertain how it matters. Cities need the means to provide for themselves, and the game doesn't revolve around the 2 Houses that aren't in cities.
You paid the going rate for trade skill workrooms when you bought them. You wanted all the improvements without city strings attached, and you still have all those improvements without city strings attached. Nothing is changing about how you get to use the things your House bought, so I don't know why you want some kind of compensation for nothing.

I'm just here waiting impatiently.

Achaea admin without Tecton or Makarios.
(Sorry! Couldn't help myself)
Also @Xith: get off your pedestal. We know it's the holiday season and we (I) are (am) just poking fun at our (my) own impatience.
You get off my pedestal, $&%#face.
