Seragorn shows up in last 5 mins. Amazing work @Astarod and @Thiev
I present 2 Hashani vs 5 Ashtani (pre-raid even):
2019/10/24 14:07:10 - Elon captured a tank from Ashtan. 2019/10/24 14:09:24 - Elon captured a tank from Ashtan. 2019/10/24 14:09:28 - Krizal captured a tank from Ashtan. 2019/10/24 14:11:27 - Elon captured a tank from Ashtan.
Nice work @Krizal and @Elon. (Surprised didn't recapture their tanks..)
It's kinda hard to capture tanks when you have Sobriquet, Urael, Farrah, Elon, Mezghar, Ammar, Lenn, Grex, Avery and Asmodron (10) with a secure double block, silence, retardation, and well, Farrah/Elon are fully equiped and able to use multiple classes. It was me and two telepathic monks (Apsethus and Thiev- you guys did awesome, BTW), and Morthif on the ground near you. In short, I was happy to be able to disarm with the continuous worldburn, buggy guards, and the supreme lack of military presence I had at the moment.
I would have captured tried to capture the tanks, if I wanted to, but I felt satisfied knowing that with four people I was able to break an attempt at a Tank room raid.
If you want to congratulate Krizal/Elon/Grex on grabbing empty tanks out of a room without guards against Tianondria, Jocindi, Messa, and two others, go ahead. I think I would instead congratulate them on their ability to defend in Sunderlands so far, as that is more impressive in my eyes. Especially with the novice set she's (Krizal) using most of the time there with varying success.
It was a fun defense, though very draining!
The Divine voice of Twilight echoes in your head, "See that it is. I espy a tithe of potential in your mortal soul, Astarod Blackstone. Let us hope that it flourishes and does not falter as so many do."

And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
A lot of work went into the event that kind of melts away on the day, when you're running around with the stage grips and trying not to trip over the wires. One thing I regret is letting time get away from me, when I initially had a tight schedule with more games and a couple of different music pieces. RIP, the skeleton band. I made an IC decision to call off dancing after Divine punishment, which I know disappointed some. Regardless, I really did have a good time.
Those of you who stayed for the whole thing and partied till dawn are my heroes. I hope you wear your costumes all week and I see you trick-or-treating. I was trying to catch my breath in the first half, when people were just acting in costume and I couldn't stop laughing at every other damn thing.
@Komari was so much fun! I liked the dance with death and that creepy statue.
The amount of people who put time and effort into their costumes was phenomenal. I loved the costume contest, all you winners and contestants! This is the winning list, not inclusive of every excellent effort: @Jurixe and @Atalkez as the Ur'Vampires Prioska and Asztrik, @Ellodin and @Alasiel as the ghost of Lucaine Pyramides and the grief-maddened Catarin deSangre, @Jarrod as the disappearing Dawnlord, @Darrod as the keelhauled Captain of the Eleusian Navy, @Layta as an Acolyte of Toil and Trouble, @Doriel as Komari, and @Ghanima as a Burning Dryad. @Israyhl and @Ashai looked lovely as the Unsidhe Fafnir and Faylinn.
Thanks to...
@Ysela for trusting us with events and helping with last-minute changes.
@Reyson for giving it 110% and pulling the cart for me, when I just wanted to nap in it. You do so much work in the background, and you sure can hustle an audience and make things fun. Couldn't have done it without you.
Atalkez and Israyhl for being the best zombie dancers and embracing the chaos of the sermon lounge song. Who needs to rehearse?
Alasiel and Darrod for a spooktacular ghost story! I totally buy Alasiel as the vengeful spectre of death, and Darrod is just hands-down wonderful.
@Proficy for the comedy of errors chairs, while dressed as a foozle box.
@Frances for being the most polite guest, and @Skye for turning back into a pumpkin only after catering for us.
I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but you all made it a fantastic and memorable night! Thank you.

The Ball was absolutely wonderful. I'm sorry we didn't get to dancing, but I'm glad we were able to adapt to several unforeseen changes and rather a downer of a hiccup that sprung up at the last minute. I hope no one's too bummed out that we missed out on some things.
@Stheno is the best. Through it all, you stayed flexible and patient and you made the event a good time even for the people performing. That's not an easy thing to do! Even the hard work is fun with you, and I couldn't ask for a better person to work on these things with. I appreciate you more than I can say.
To @Atalkez for taking on a last-minute role, thanks!
To those who showed, I'm really grateful! The thoughtfulness and effort that went into the costumes was amazing, and I think you guys had a very good time. I hope so, anyways. Those were some pleasant laughs, and I hope our next event is even better.
As a few others mentioned, the Mhaldorian ball was just simply incredible. I was very lucky to be able to attend and experience the Mhaldorian culture -- even if it did result in a number of deaths!
Not necessarily today, but, CHIBI (pretty big file)
Wao, dem cheekbones
For the low cost of just one credit a month....

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.
If you're not in it, sign me up.
