Man how does being reaved have anything to do with artefacts. It means you're locked, or you're bad and sat there only prioing ginger eats, paralyzed. I really hate a combatant representing themselves this way, doubly so that it's someone I helped train and fought in his very early days.
I complain and get crabby when I die, or when I can't seem to beat something. But I firmly believe in skill and afflictions > artefacts. Even when I fought Farrah and complained about how good that class is on her. I killed her the first time and she said knew it was gonna happen like that, so did I, but we both also knew the second time she came back around I'd be dead. And so it was. Know why? Cuz she adapted.
Combat is about adapting and making a battle plan around your enemy. That's how I win my fights, that's how top tier win their fights, that's how you should fight. You can't just buy an automated script or write one up and assume it's a win all. It's clear here that Llesvelt doesn't know how to adapt and blames it on artefacts (with a class that in no way scales with artefacts) instead of taking the loss, maybe complaining a little, then going back for round 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 and finally snagging the win once you figure out how you can improve.
8/10 times Farrah and Jhui are going to beat me up. But it's those 2/10 times that are really what makes the game fun for me in the end. Combat jitters are a serious drug.
Take a bounty out from a raid. Guy decides not to duel me when I offer. So I attack him, and he runs to Mhaldor and won't leave. Ask Hataru if there are any laws on such a thing as hiding in the city to avoid combat. I mean this IS Mhaldor, but w/e (A pleasant person to talk to btw!) randomly get enemied to Mhaldor for being a nuisance. Chat with Kiet, I must have been quite the nuisance because I get a duel out of it with Medi and then
2017/07/24 22:24:48 - The City of Mhaldor has declared a sanctioned raid against the City.
2017/07/24 22:24:58 - Draqoom declared Titonus to be a formal enemy. Reason: Raiding.

Purifier Kiet Aristata al-Azhan yells, "Was that Mhaldorian enough for you, Torben?"
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Wouldn't worry about it. From what I hear he does nothing but whine. And blackwind in arena until limb damage resets.
Putting people outside their comfort zone is a sure fire way of knowing whether you want to interact with them again. I'm finding that more and more recently.
Also, the irony of that statement given what @Armali knows about combat. I'm not sure he could have picked a worse person to accuse of that.
I'm pretty sure Llesvelt has a trigger that fires anytime he cages/dies that tells his current target something about artefacts. Maybe has a RNG factor determining which whiny phrasing to use or something.
It's a valid complaint though. We all know how costly it can be for Apostate. You need, like, an SoA and...whatnot. So yeah.
Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 88. You have reached the illustrious level of 3rd Rank of the Infinite.
Finally! I've done a lot of dying this level, so it's good to finally make it to the other side.
Got sunk sunk (again!) by Amrak, then, because Amrak said his only reason for attacking me was because I was Ashtani, went back on one the Ashtan Navy ships with a crew and sank him while waiting for salvage.
He salvaged himself with another ship and stormed out of Shala-Khulia harbour in pursuit of me to try and sink me again, to fall into a cunning (alright, not that cunning) trap whereby the Ashtani naval ship piled in from the north and sank him a second time.
And all because I wanted to shoot one last seamonster...
You have completed the This Is My Ballista resolution! Congratulations! You just received message #4394 from Achaea. You just received a group of 10 mementoes! As a mass of sargassum slowly sinks to the depths below, the crewmen swarm over the remnants, retrieving 16 darts and a tangle of sargassum fronds for safe keeping on the ship's deck. The eyes of a fearsome dragon figurehead glow momentarily as it feeds off of the stolen lifeforce of a mass of sargassum.
Tharos, the Announcer of Delos shouts, "It's near the end of the egghunt and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Clean-dat-hoo."

Jesus @Nazihk, you're so nice
You're an ass, but I'm pretty sure Targ would be worse off without you tbh
He's our ass.
And my ass!
