If anything we should only assume the air we breathe comes from the Skylord, which is part of His realm. That is the only logical assumption to be made in our era.
Air is one of the five elements, which is more Agatheis' realm, but originates from the elemental plane of air and not from any particular god (aside from Ayar).

That's actually a very interesting discussion topic!

Is elemental air the wind around us or is it an aspect of said wind?

Is wind Vastar's realm or Agatheis?

In that said, which god is created with the air we breathe to live?

Neither. Vastar's realm is the sky, not wind.

We don't breathe wind though. We breathe air. So Sena's right. Eleusis should worship Agatheis, not trees.

Agatheis is dead, Bal'met ganked him.
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

Need oxygen on the moon or you choke to death there. The one time that I was lucky enough to have tea and scones with Ouraina, she put up a field that allowed oxygen so I didn't die like everyone else sent there.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

The one thing that kind of irks me with the IC/OOC physics is the glacial or nonexistent pace of evolution and adaptation in non-sentient beings.

    Edit: Or even sentient ones!
Aurora says, "Are you drunk, Aodfionn?"

Isn't this because creationism is the actual truth in the realm of Achaea? :P

It's year 737. Evolution usually takes a bit longer. Further, has the environment of Sapience, where the majority of us live in, really changed a lot? If not, then there's no reason for massive evolutionary changes.

One could argue that various mechanical changes over the years (changes in racial stats, bonuses, etc.) is a part of evolution. Further, there are trolls in Riagath who have developed webbed feet and gills to take into account the fact that they live in flooded caves.

  • Even if we assume point mutations do occur in Achaea there's no selection pressure to lead to evolution. Permadeath is pretty rare

  • @Shirszae got it. I was just following the targets and sniping (with a non-artie darkbow, too!) and picking 'em up left and right.

  • I made the mistake of reading some of the very very old IRE threads over at TMS while bored at work. What a complete cluster-f@$% those were.
Give us -real- shop logs! Not another misinterpretation of features we ask for, turned into something that either doesn't help at all, or doesn't remotely resemble what we wanted to begin with.

    Thanks!

Current position of some of the playerbase, instead of expressing a desire to fix problems:

Vhaynna: "Honest question - if you don't like Achaea or the current admin, why do you even bother playing?"

  • You viciously jab a Soulpiercer into Ohmut, the Vertan craftswoman.
You have scored a WORLD-SHATTERING CRITICAL hit!
You have slain Ohmut, the Vertan craftswoman, retrieving the corpse.
A small pile of sovereigns spills from the corpse.
You feel a surge of energy course through your body as a sycophantic shoulder cape feeds upon the
    lifeforce of your fallen foe.

Lightning-quick, you jab a Vertani guard with a Soulpiercer.
The coalescence of power suffusing you empowers your blow.
You have slain a Vertani guard, retrieving the corpse.
A chipped tangerine shard appears and clatters to the ground.
A large pile of sovereigns spills from the corpse.
You feel a surge of energy course through your body as a sycophantic shoulder cape feeds upon the
    lifeforce of your fallen foe.

This figurine is skillfully carved from the wood of a maple tree and depicts a near-perfect likeness
of Maya in the wake of her greatest suffering. A palpable aura of pain and misery radiates from the
idol; what clothes she wears are torn, her body broken and bruised. An expression of indescribable
anguish is worn heavy on the Aldar's features, her eyes a picture of torment as she wraps her arms
tightly about her form in scant, exiguous protection against the horrors that irrecovably scarred
and haunted her for a fathomless eternity.
    It will reset to you.

Probably the FIRST ever set completed in game. Powwa @Seragorn
  • I'm still really disappointed and honestly disgusted that they would make a skill that's readily available in every single other IRE game (and for -all- crits, not just WSC) into a talisman that you need to pour tons of credits into MAYBE finding. It's just utterly repulsive, and I don't really say that about much of anything (except monks)

Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 113.
You have reached the illustrious level of 4th Echelon of the Paramount.

    Enjoy!

Every game should be a bit different, I agree too.

Some facts about Maya Figurine after about 30 mins of test:
    - It transfers extra WSC and PRC damage to the next target automatically, you don't need to do anything extra.
    - The hit that damages with Maya powwa won't crit itself.
    - I am not sure how long the window is yet. But good enough for me to move a few rooms.
    - Since WSC and PRC is gonna kill most denizens, it becomes quite useful.
    - But you have to maximize your chance of landing WSC and PRC, and it has to be the killing blow.
    - It does speed up hunting noticably, when I one-shot PRC a sidhe, and then maya one shot another sidhe.
    - Works extremely well with the 2 crit paragons. Sip lucky as well.
    - Pay attention, cos I PRC a lion, move a room, autotarget, maya one-shotted @Cooper's pegasus... sorry.
  • So it transfers the extra damage to uncrittable denizens?
  • Sena said:

No, can't transfer to uncrittable denizens. Just tested, the window is 10s.

@Aegoth Alertness costs 400 credits (8000 aethergoop) on Lusternia.

And balance queue etc is a skill at like... gifted combat or something

  • Oh shit, I forgot Lusty doesn't have alertness. Fuck me, it's been a long time D:

All mounts should be uncrittable. Even with pets, they're normally crittable but the mountable addon makes them uncrittable.

Gotta pay for skywatch, as well. Their version only works on-use, not as a defence. Let's not forget that vials aren't linked to liquidrift by default, unless they're artifact ones. Or the fact you gotta pay 200 lessons to switch to another class you've already learned, unless you wanna buy a ~1000cr artifact. Also a 12 day cooldown (3 with that arti)

    Lol.

eta: Most annoying of all is that you still can't check the abilities of other classes with HELP <skill>. Or your own unlearned skills with AB... Not even with the gmcp script... Hell they still don't even have your current class listed in gmcp >.>

  • So. There I am, hunting on Meropis. Someone takes gold that dropped from something I killed. So, naturally I peer at them... They apologize, and state they didnt see me. So I say, how did you not see a big dragon? They reply "Stop bitching mister I got dragon eating chocolates.".... And now I think they snubbed me. Anyways, thought I'd share my interaction of the day!
