Not sure what you mean. The Renaissance doesn't happen until the admin come and have their talks with you, and you go through a process to decide how everything will be. Then its implemented.
The process doesn't start until the admin come to you. Currently they're in Mhaldor (have been for what, 2 months now?), next is Eleusis, then Hashan, then Ashtan.
It's ok Eld, it first requires having a functional sense of a humor to get it. No one will judge you for lack thereof and we all wish you the best in finding a donor to replace it in time. Get well soon.
Best wishes, XOXO The Achaean Community

Ya guys, @Asmodron speaks for the Achaean community and its mature and refined sense of humor.
Just a quick question : wouldn't involving more House members instead of leaving decisions entirely(?) up to House leaders for the future direction of the House, be more conducive for everyone?

If by "be more conducive" you mean "take longer to do even simple tasks and still only end up involving the members who happen to be active" then yes.

Not really, from what I understand, Logi is trying to separate the Sentinels from Eleusis. Same will probably happen for the Sylvans.
Mechanically, no. I'd also say its super unlikely that they'd allow the Sentinels to leave Eleusis. Like 0.000001% they'll do it.
To be honest, I do wish the admin had more solid ideas when it comes to the Renaissance, since it's such a long lasting change. The wrong people in leadership can have a huge effect on the outcome (so it seems, anyways. In our preliminary talks, they've given us free range of ideas, and the only thing they've said that won't happen is hardcore theocracy)
We've got a couple of neutral-tending people in our discussions, so I try to keep reminding our guys that we need to try and make it neutral-proof, and that its not enough that other cities oppose us, but that we have to oppose other cities, or else we'll just change our stance so as not to get raided.

Design by committee doesn't really work IMO, especially with these higher-level planning decisions. That doesn't mean peons can't have good ideas, but: the process of soliciting mass feedback is usually a huge mess, chances are all the ideas you get will be crap, and people will feel more alienated if you ask for their ideas and dismiss them than if you don't ask at all and just do a good job by yourself without ego.
What you need is a couple of people with objectively great ideas and clear perspective on what they're doing.
Separating the Sentinels from Eleusis sounds like a terrible idea, but I don't want to comment on something I'm hearing third-hand on the forum grapevine.
Speaking as someone who did a design by committee thing when we did the second chapel in Cyrene: I do NOT recommend it. At all. At alllll.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
Although I'm not going to deny that Sentinels/Sylvans as rogueish houses would be kind of neat (the concept of a forestal city is sort of paradoxical anyway), it doesn't seem like it would help anybody, especially not the Sentinels/Sylvans.
I think a few people should of been involved with the start of the houses that weren't, and a few that were never should of been within 10 feet of the building of the houses with a restraining order based on past performances.
thw good this is that this people get weeded out in about 10 years and new ideas come in with new leadership.
We're still deciding whether to have the new house banners in red or black. Sartan seems indecisive on this one and cant make up his two-minds.
And then they settle for black-and-red, and then there'll another five-month-long argument on whether it will be black-on-red, or red-on-black.
Sartan: "Black-on-red would truly portray the Suffering to overcome all by the hand of evil....ah but Red-on-black would truly denote the Oppression wrought forth by the hand of evil.....I just cant decide, let me think on it".

(Replace black stuff with white tendrils of light. And yes, I made two interpretations of 'prototype')

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important

you're welcome.
You have no house.
