    "Several warnings"
    Huh. Neat.
  • Several means one or less, when it comes to Achaean warnings.

Usually while they are killing you, if not after  :p

And you won't understand the cause of your grief...

...But you'll always follow the voices beneath.

  • As far as I can gather, it's at least the third time he's been warned for similar behavior, plus past behavior pissing off the tyrannus, so them's the roleplays
  • Why bother justifying? It's Mhaldor's business why the bounty was what it was.

If anyone wants the actual story, feel free to ask.

And sure, @Morthif, there's no need to justify. I just find it hilarious what people hear about me through the chinese-whispers-game that is the Achaean grapevine. Was literally accused of murdering the tyrannus and two ministers once. P great.

Ya. I wouldn't expect you to. However, the people I've not met that do know who I am know things that just aren't true u.u

  • It'd have been amazing if Slith went and destroyed the statue he's encased in during this event, as well.

Wouldn't have made any sense. Slith has always had a hatred for Thoth and death itself, being the key reason why he originally sought to help fight against the gods. He also utilized all the built up energy from those deaths to enter death's realm. Going and smacking the statue is just...beyond illogical

I am however enjoying the attention and focus being given to Khalas by the community though. Yay for publicity ^^
  • Is it just me, or does those soulfire fights look ridiculous? :P

  • They are, so we better abuse the hell out of them before they get nerfed.
  • Yeh, they really need to be re-thought, they seem to be dominating raids at the moment

    (Party): Mezghar says, "Stop."
  • They're dominating raids because people haven't adapted to their existence yet. Just don't fight stood in the room with one. Until line of sight gets the nerfs it deserves they're the best way to punish groups that lean on it (which might explain why Hashan is seeing so many of them) and try to get them to do something different.
  • Getting 3 kills in a group is usually enough to wipe out midbies, then their deaths together will continue the domino effect
  • When you have 5 or 6 down in a room it really gives people little choice on the LoS front, would be nice if they weren't stackable in the same room.* Would also be nice if they could be picked up as people flaming them is annoying af.

*Not been in a raid for a while, so not sure if this is still the case.

Why should you be able to just pick it up? Once lit they should be stuck in the room until the fifteen deathsights have flared, flame sigil or no. The counter should be killing the owner or just not being in the room with it.

Crucible isn't supposed to proc from deathsights caused by the crucible itself, so there shouldn't be any domino effect. If it's proccing as a result of a crucible deathsight, file a bug because that's not intended. Though if you can stack multiple crucibles in a single room it's possible they're feeding off each other; could either disallow crucible procs from all crucible deathsights (rather than its own) if that's not how it already works or disallow having more than one active crucible per room.
  • Crucibles weren't intended to be multiple per room I thought, probably a bug resulting from that.

Cascades of quicksilver light streak across the firmament as the celestial voice of Ourania intones, "Oh Jarrod..."

  • You can't light a crucible if there's already one in the room, there's an error message for it and everything.  It's one per room, it doesn't proc on its own deathsights, and it damages the owner whenever it fires whether the owner is in the room with it or not.
  • They are constantly working on them though. I used to be able to drop them while phased. That's now impossible. I also suddenly noticed that everytime it flares, I also get damaged. That's new as well.

Lol do abilities like monk numbness work to mitigate its damage? I can see that strategy forming

That's how it's always worked, as far as I know.  Pretty sure Penwize posted the first log of testing it out (or maybe somebody posted a log of Penwize testing it out) and it was doing damage to him then. Definitely always how it was supposed to work, at any rate.
  • I didn't get to use it very often.
