How does the stationery kit currently on sale in the Shop of Wonders compare in terms of functionality and style to the olivewood and rosewood stationery kits previously on sale?
And I don't mind them, but is there something better that a human serpent who uses garrote for bashing (main activity other than questing) instead of camus should select?
The only trait that will help offensively for serpent bashing is nimble, and you have that. Robust and triage are also probably your best choices. The only thing I might change is replacing health weaver with a resistance. An extra 3% health isn't a big deal, especially at lower levels.

I think those are quite good! Unlike @Sena I think that every little bit of health helps, and a resistance will not help you much while bashing. You can always get a resistance (imbued or venom) at 60 or 70.
If you bash somewhere where a lot of the denizens deal a certain damage type (I don't remember level 50-70-ish bashing areas very well, so I'm not sure if there are any), a resistance will be significantly better than health weaver. Assuming you go with champion specialisation for 15 con, health weaver gives you an extra 82 health at level 50, which increases your average sip (assuming no bonuses) by about 12. It's not a huge difference either way, though.
Well, I went with Champion for the con and since I'm mostly starting to bash in places with venoms, I keep shrugging up, but I wasn't sure about any of the other resistances. Thanks guys.
Is the Morindar quest still active, or is it unavalible to players now?
I thought it was broken. It's possible that I was doing the quest wrong/couldn't figure it out, though (which happens a lot with me). I got up to a particular point about ten steps in and it just kind of stopped. I forget precisely where, we can discuss it in PMs if you like. Couldn't find anything else to do, couldn't get any hints from any NPCs in the area despite spamming every relevant phrase I could think of. I started giving all the items I could find to random named NPCs in the area out of desperation, but since they didn't return them, and the items came from performing quest actions that took hours to reset, I wasn't very thorough. After getting a few "yeah I thought it was bugged maybe I don't know" responses from other people, I bugged it probably more than a year ago, and never heard anything back to indicate either that it was all in working order, or that it was indeed bugged.

I have a set of 83/62 fieldplate, and I use the reinforced trait. How high on my priority list should getting fullplate be? I would like it for rp but I am worried I would be harming myself by getting fullplate instead of avoidance. I understand avoidance is 12.5% damage reduction (information from Terra, who is really helpful) and it works against all physical damage, but I am wondering if I would benefit more from having a good set of fullplate (which I am guessing is 90/90 or something?) with the reinforced trait. I do not really understand the math behind these things, but I will likely go with the fullplate if the difference would not be very much. I have a few friends with hammers of forging and lots of steel, so that part will not be an issue. I would appreciate any input on this.
Oh, and currently I have the most issue with monks with many artifacts. Others are slightly more manageable, but I get prepped really quickly and then it is doublebreak and backbreaker. If I live they choke me for 38% of my health. Damage runewardens are tough too, but their damage is from multiple things instead of just physical (I think hailstones and thurisaz is magical and the really weird spitting parts on the rapiers is lightning?? I have imbued too.)
Unless you're a very specific kind of person, forging is not fun at all. I regret transing it (I did if before survival like a newb). I have done maybe 3 orders and made 2 sets of fullplate (got 81/101 on second try and never cared enough to try for better). Fullplate is nice because I stopped playing Eochai like 3 years ago and came back to still having it, but the damage reduction against tekura is lacklustre. If I was ever going to do it again, forging would be one of the last skills I'd trans.
No Nemutaur's did 38% of my health each. I remember because I was really really proud I survived the doublebreak backbreaker by tumbling away from piety onto a monolith and then he choked me twice while I was doing layhands in revitalisation and I died, I was a little mortified. I do not have any fitness though and he said that would help against it.
But.. how many fullplate would I likely need to forge before I get a good one? If I would have to spend another 50 credits worth of gold on steel (or more than 10 hours forging) I will likely just get avoidance and some fitness. Planning how to spend lessons is really difficult.

The ones that have been promoted to high clans (giving them more legitimacy and implying at least some level of activity) are shown on HIGHCLAN LIST.
