No, you can refill vials from the rift with broken arms. I imagine sleep and stun would prevent it, and aeon would slow it down as with any other command.
Ensure it's set to trigger on prompt. Replace 1 with whatever spot the value is at in your prompt, based on your trigger pattern. 2 is for the % (it being grey made me twitchy).

Is this for showing the health of your target on your prompt? Been trying to do that since I've been back and didn't think there was a GMCP for target health?
To be clear, I've mentioned (repeatedly) that Bard is great bashing when fully artied. I can't stress that enough. If you pick Bard based on what I've said and you don't have any artefacts don't blame me if it's not actually that good.
Bard has Tune. 10% reduction to all damage types (as far as I know). That helps a lot against denizens that deal non-physical damage, and helps make up for only being able to wear leather armour when dealing with physical damage.
Bard has Aria. 10% increase to maximum health. Nothing fancy, it just makes you tankier.
Bard has Continuo. That's 15% health regen every 10 seconds (as far as I know). Add on boar tattoo (5%) and level two health regen (5%) and you're gaining back 25% of your max health every 10 seconds before you add in irid moss/potash and sipping health elixir. Since Continuo is percentage-based it also feeds off of the effect of constitution and bracelet (+X% health/mana) artefacts, as well as the bonus from Aria.
Bard has Anthem. Sometimes it does you no good, but other times it makes you completely immune to the type of damage that you currently have to deal with. There are few things better than walking into a room of three Sidhe Knights and having Anthem make you immune to cutting damage.
Bard has Canticle. Reduces balance recovery. Bard attacks really damn fast. Also applies to allies so if you're hunting in a group then you're boosting everybody else, too (has a version for equilibrium, too!).
Bard has Hallelujah. Fighting things that hit with loki? Hallelujah has you covered.
Bard can wield a Shield of Absorption. So can plenty of other classes, so what's the big deal? Well, unlike sword and shield knight, you sacrifice no attack speed (and therefore DPS) in doing so.
Bard doesn't rely on a stat to maximise attack speed. This is only really relevant in the comparison to Serpent, but since that's a class that's constantly mentioned as being the best bashing in the game, it's a huge factor for me. I have ~5.5k health as Serpent because I'm specced for dexterity. I have 7072 (7779 with Aria) health as Bard at level 110, because I can spec for constitution instead. Higher DPS is great, but it's only high if you're in the room and attacking. An extra 2.2k health means a lot less hit and run.
Bard has Dwinnu. Depends where you hunt, but if you're like me and hunt Annwyn almost exclusively, using voice balance to rid yourself of webbed/roped afflictions is huge for bashing effectiveness.
Bard has Cantata. Strips shield (and rebounding, but that's irrelevant for bashing) using voice balance so you can drop shield and do a full bashing attack all at the same time. No sacrificing damage on your primary bashing attack (hello knights!) or using rage (hello other classes!) to drop shield.
Jab + Accentato hits hard. Better damage that most attacks, and a lot faster than many others, which means the DPS is much higher. There's only one downside here, and that's accentato being a flat 25% of the jab damage and the two parts being independent for critical hits. If you get a WSC on the jab things have a tendency to explode, if you get it on the accentato part not so much.
PvE and PvP are both based on jab. Jab is balance, so you take the Nimble trait for both PvE and PvP. Alchemist uses wrack/truewrack (balance) for PvP and educe iron (equilibrium) for PvE. Priest uses Smite (balance) for PvE, and uses smite + chasten (balance and equilibrium - it's the equilibrium part that's the limiting factor on speed) for PvP. Those two classes, while having a lot of upsides, have to sacrifice either PvE or PvP effectiveness when picking nimble vs quick-witted.
TL;DR: It hits hard and fast. It tanks surprisingly well. Harmonics are great and very mobile, and boost your group if you don't hunt solo. There are no awkward choices about traits and racial specialisation, you can maximise PvP and PvE efficiency with the same choices and you don't have to sacrifice tanking for attack speed.
You have convinced me to consider Bard as my second multiclass later on. Sounds awesome and completely different from Blademaster gameplay.
That is not an ordinary star, my son.
That star is the tear of a warrior. A lost soul who has finished his
battles somewhere on this planet. A pitiful soul who could not find his
way to the lofty realm where the great spirit awaits us all.

Check out HELP PROMPT - you can set up a custom prompt, and that includes your target's health. It just doesn't color it based on their %, so I added that sub.
Are there any sort of "go-to" places to try and make it clear you're looking for roleplay, or any advice on how to initiate it? I've thrown out emotes at 5-6 people now in varying interactions and haven't gotten too terribly much back.

RPWHO is technically for this, but not usually very fruitful. Your best bet is finding the hangouts for each city, though some cities are much more likely to give you something back.
RPWHO exists if you want to cast your line that way; put your name on the list and see if anyone engineers a meeting. I don't think that's necessary, though. I think there are certain places to avoid when seeking good interactions, but I can usually find good roleplay just about anywhere when I wish to. I think the trick is just showing people that you're interested in roleplaying with them and not at them. There are times when someone walks into my room and starts throwing out pre-planned emotes or over-the-top dialogue, and I'm guilty of thinking "This person just wants an audience for their story, isn't really interested in me or what I have to say," and so I don't put as much effort in. Best way to draw folks in is to give them the impression that you want to learn about them as much as you want them to learn about you.
Also fair to say that not everyone "roleplays" the same way. Personally, I don't always use emotes, and I often forget to use expressions when speaking, so I could be roleplaying hard, but if you're using long emotes or over-the-top dialogue as your indicator, then you might think I'm not trying. And there's the fact that sometimes "RP" does mean being less than open around strangers. I'm not going to be too friendly the first time I meet a foreigner, and without any kind of investment, I'm not going to get too involved in your life story unless it makes sense for the character to care. You might have to break through the ice a little before you get the kind of open interactions you want. That's not a sign of bad roleplay, that's honestly very good roleplay, it can just be hard to distinguish at first glance.
Basically, just don't get discouraged. There's RP everywhere, it just might not be exactly what you're looking for, or play out exactly like you want. Take what you can get and roll with it, and once you find a circle of people who do respond to you, then it'll get better with time.
-- Grounded in but one perspective, what we perceive is an exaggeration of the truth.
Can always e-mail artefacts@achaea.com and ask about it, though they might just say it's not something they offer.
Sort of related to that, I have been thinking recently that it would be nice if you could, for leveled artefacts, choose which level of the power it currently gave. So I could change my level three scimitars to have the stats of level one or level two artefact scimitars instead, then change them back to level three whenever I wanted. That's probably not viable, but would be nice.
I have a lvl 3 BJ and since the bashing changes I don't find myself using it as much, would be nice to drop to a lvl 2 or even a lvl 1, keep the customisation and drop the credits onto another artie i'd get more use from
Is there a way to describe yourself without getting spammed by what you used to look like, what you look like now, and your entire inventory? I want to change my description alongside raising and lowering my hood as it hides my face, but this is looking kind of problematic. It's about a page of spam.
You'll want to create a trigger group, name it whatever you want. In that group, make a trigger to capture (.*) and perl regex in the drop down menu to the right, and deleteFull() in the script to run. Make another trigger, in the same group, and capture return isPrompt() and set it to Lua Function (in the drop down to the right) The script for this one is disableTrigger("TriggerGroupName") Then in your alias to set the description, you simply need to put the script enableTrigger("TriggerGroupName").
There may be a better way, but II noticed no one had answered. Basically, the alias will enable the trigger to capture the (.*) which in regex captures EVERY character so long as the trigger is active. The return isPrompt() will capture your prompt, and the script will tell the trigger to stop working. There may be a more efficient way to capture the text you're trying to gag, but the same enable and disable portion will still allow LOOK ME and whatnot to continue to work, basically ensuring that the trigger only fires once.

Does being riftlocked prevent refilling?

Edit: For anyone on cmud who wants the code, here:
Pattern: (that'll be prompt specific)
Command: #switch %1>75 {#psub {%ansi(green)%1} %x1;#psub {%ansi(green)%2} %x2} (%1>25) {#psub {%ansi(yellow)%1} %x1;#psub {%ansi(yellow)%2} %x2} {#psub {%ansi(red)%1} %x1;#psub {%ansi(red)%2} %x2}
Ensure it's set to trigger on prompt. Replace 1 with whatever spot the value is at in your prompt, based on your trigger pattern. 2 is for the % (it being grey made me twitchy).
@Tecton what is Squall Cleft and when do we get to raid it?

The Archway to Minia would probably best be avoided. I didn't know that as a novice... And not much has changed in ten years.
