I just want to give a big shoutout to everyone involved in that whole Han-Silnar event thing. Everyone who helped me with hints (like a dozen+ people easily from Hashan), everyone who has reached out in the aftermath for some amazing interactions via letters, tells and other conversations and everyone who helped make that wild escapade happen in the first place.
I've had a TON of fun with the whole thing, and it's crazy to think about the fact that it all snowballed from a single imprint that I left on a whim after a conversation.
Eurice might not have expected the outcome she got, but as any seasoned TTRPG player can attest, what goes right at the table doesn't make the fun: it's what goes wrong instead. I am excited as all heck to continue her story on through it all and marrying it into her character has been a unique joy that I'm grateful I'll get to iterate on over the coming months and years.
Just please drop the incredibly high cost of multiclass in general....
I've got over 4000 lessons now and even with the credits I have saved, can't tri-trans slot 3. Also, PLEASE let me forget Searfaring to get lessons back, I'm never going to use it.
@Ictinus That rework looks really fun! I'm bummed life won't let me play much to see it, but it's cool to see old areas get new life. Also, thank you for the shout! Made me smile, I appreciate it!
It really was fun and quite refreshing as a fairly new player, cause I don't think I've ever seen so many new, evil, and painful deathsights! Makes me not try to go and explore even if I'm a Dragon now... 😅
When I won the bid for one day with Pandora in her auction, I took a little gamble and tried to ask for something special. It's been a pretty long wait, but well worth it. It was amazing fun, and getting to do something unique and special like this makes Achaea really a unique game. Big raves for @Pandora and anyone/Anyone who also participated in that. I can't wait to see what comes out of it, both the good and the very, very bad (for my character).
Have been having so much fun on our monster hunts. A mixture of silly and serious and just the right amounts of chaos and fun. The Adventures of AMIGAA shall be such a memory, and I look forward to our excitement spreading through the after-hours crew of Hashan and more people joining us for bigger, more dangerous prey. Who knows what our intrepid band of adventurers will get up to next.
Also weird discoveries like dresses found in the deeps.
WTF.
I love you guys and you absolutely make things fun, keep being you!
Thank you for being a great experience and last laugh of my night. You are precious and adored, Gurky! So is everyone in the AMIGAA!! May its energy spread as you mentioned to more of our after-hours crew in Hashan!
Until then, our group is precious to me! Thank you for being part of that!
I forgot just how much more enjoyable it is to fight with Cyrene these days. We headed in to kill Janella after she was assisting in defending the Villagers and it turned in to a pretty epic battle. Lots of back and forth, excellent showing from Cyrene and tactics that really had to make us think on how to counter them. While we managed to get a tank down there were a number of times we very nearly lost it, with a few of us dive bombing into the room to stop the disarm with it in the 90%'s.
Their attitude is top notch too with a "nothing ventured, nothing gained" approach that is really paying off for them. @Pani - Big props to you and the other fighters in Cyrene.
I will second Sobriquet on that, it was a lot of fun, having ...not only space to move around, but also a variety of tactics being used in a raid defense. Not to say that raids in Eleusis aren't fun, you just don't get to move a lot, and you end up entangled a lot, its not as engaging or the same really. Cyrene had people spread out, using a variety of skills, a good core group who -nearly- had our tank disarmed, and an overall strategy that was more conducive to feel like a battle....like there wasn't a tactic on either side that would instantly cause a win or loss, the leverage from either side felt equal, it was FUN.
That being said, change of subject.
I want to thank @Agramon for hosting the event today, we had Eleusians, Cyrenians, Hashani, and Ashtani all there, people got to perform, be silly, and I got to meet some new faces and hear some poetry or songs, or a different side of the game/playerbase. It was a lot of fun, and I like when gods like Pandora randomly roll up and want to watch the RP side of the things as well. Was super enjoyable, and any opportunity to improv and be silly is gonna draw me in to perform.
Having a lot of fun lately with most aspects of things, and since I have been home this week relatively ill and in and out of the hospital, y'all have made me feeling like crap easy to forget.
Yes the event was super cool, reminded me of the old Scarlatan concerts although this one was a bit scarier lol. Thanks to @Agramon and @Ita for hosting!
- Players may now seek retribution on land for conflict that takes place at sea. The oceans are no longer a safe haven to attack anyone and everyone without repercussions.
Big raves to @Ictinus and the team for patiently replying to each e-mail I send them as I work out the kinks for my pet request. Thank you everyone, I appreciate the quick responses. It certainly made the wait for her all the more worth it.
Friend of mine got into Achaea to give it a try after seeing me and some others on my Discord server playing it (under the active game setting). Excited to see if they stick with it.
It's been a little while since I had over three straight hours of rp with different kinds of people and views! Enough was exchanged I actually needed a fifteen minute brain recharge to let everything settle in. Reminds me of why I do still keep logging in despite the struggle some days. Y'all know who you are. Thank you for keeping me engaged. 🙂
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby

* WEAPONRY is now attained through leveling, the same as survival. All lessons invested in weaponry skills have been refunded.
Thank you, IRE!
At this rate, we're well on track to new players being able to have their first class tri-trans with 0 investment by level 80, before 2030.
Disappearing from Achaea for now. See you, space cowboy.
smileyface#8048 if you wanna chat.
I honestly don't know why that's not already the case.
Provide a taste of the fun through a full transed class, then have the additionals be investment based if you want to.
burning man tickets don't pay for themselves
Glamping aint cheap, BAI MAI CREDIZ
BM is like the KBR or Halliburton of desert "camping". But ironically, with more pollution

@Ictinus for getting the Tourist's voyage up and running again and then hanging out on the 2-3 day period as I worked through that voyage!

Got to say. Love the Broken Mirror cocktails.

Big raves to see a Foozle (or any world event) run that wasn't tied into the anniversary or year xx0 games.
(But can we have walking to areas back since WALK TO got nerfed? Makes it hard to compete against people with auto-walkers when I don't use Mudlet.)

Just a shoutout to @Dunn he knows what he did. You the real one my man.
I love those shit show moments when everyone that hates you, and hates each other, are in a room and it's a random free for all of chaos and death.
I qq'd because we didn't all turn on Dunn immediately :(
