    Daeir is definitely not a wartime consigliere.

    I don't wait for discord invites or alerts, I just log in a lot throughout the day so if a raid takes an hour, I will probably catch part of it.

    I don't think it's my perception that needs to match reality when I've basically said that both sides have raided with overwhelming forces and both sides have taken risks before, and the position you're taking is that actually, it's a Targossian problem.

    Well, I know that I journal a lot when I'm afk, and I know a lot of other people do that too. These people were probably journaled and have been sticking their heads in to see if there's any action, because that's what I do, too.

    Life is so much better when you're not constantly assuming the worst because everyone is your enemy OOC too.
    You get more pleasure out of beating them if you do, though. They got what's coming to them.

    The thing you're not getting is consistency. Mhaldor has been raiding against stronger odds (the tank in your alchemy last two days ago was 9v14 your favour, and you still had to station 15 guards) while Targossa has -only- been raiding with 15-20 v 5-8 odds. Targ even has standing orders to not engage unless certain people are around (this has been confirmed by multiple Targossians). Your side only wants to fight winning battles 90% of the time.  There's no comparison. Do you guys take risks? Sure, once or twice.. and that's nice to see in the extremely rare circumstances that it happens. And yet when you have Achilles knowingly abusing a sanction bug to try and get a tank blown when there's 6 people in Mhaldor v your 15 man crew.... you know? We get you're angry that you're losing, but to turn a blind eye and blanket-statement "Everyone's doing it!" is quite a prevarication to make in lieu of the reality. That's what Stheno is trying to say :)

    None of this is at all helpful or constructive criticism. It's not a surprise that war eventually boils down into pressing your advantage when you have it. X did Y and vice versa is a dead horse, let's just leave it alone.

    Less than 10 days left, let's focus on finishing out as best we can and gauging the end result alongside the critiques that we've already offered.

    Bit unfair when some Mhaldorians also call the "don't give up a sanction" command. Sometimes you just gotta risk it for the biscuit, even if you get stomped, because you still get the chance to have good people learn new things and gain valuable knowledge to. It sucks to have to try and disarm a tank in heavily unfavourable conditions, but that's what guards, and ret, and bombs, and spamming the server so hard it crashes the game.

    One of those you shouldn't do, but I'll leave that decision to the user.

    Hiding the name doesn't make it any less obvious who it is, but showing this log doesn't change the fact that I have legitimately not heard this on any medium at any point in time.

    I was genuinely surprised when the war continued past the 12 day mark. I just KNEW someone was gonna "politely" ask both sides "so uh... you guys wanna call it to a close an IC year early?

    I'm not even in the War and it was obvious af after just one week how absolutely burned out everyone was from the slogfest that devolved into trying to game the point system to make up for lost ground.
