you'd be surprised how many hotshot Marks/experienced players don't keep selfishness up - Dalran just donated 25 monolith sigils to the cause yesterday
Or jhui and he keeps a shit ton of sigils to donate

Edit: More on topic: What's a good way to stay alive from Alchemists when you're about to be blown up? I bleed almost double my health and I can't get away due to the blocking thingy. If I somersault away they move just as I leave the room and I've accomplished almost nothing.
Can fake the tumble or put between the room you're tumbling into and the room you're in.
Wall. There was supposed to be the word wall in that sentence there.
@Aodfionn They're ok. Speed is pretty decent, damage is average, the main problem with them is that neither of them has particularly good to-hit. If you were a Runewarden, definitely - you can boost those stats to decent values. As a Paladin or Infernal, you might find that they miss a bit too often against certain classes with a lot of dodge chance.
Wield the 158 to hit one in the left, use curare with prefarar/darkshade/kalmia any other herb/mineral cured affliction and that will mostly solve your accuracy issues.
Yeah, I'd still use them, even as a Paladin. You'll get frustrated against Trans Avoidance+Mounted/Weaving/Acrobatics/DrunkenSailor opponents, but nothing that patience wouldn't eventually overcome.

Hey all, newbie here! I seem to be playing off peak and struggling to get some information IC. Currently a dwarf shaman, I chose miner a long time ago for some reason. Is that a fine race and specialisation? Any idea on what traits would be suitable? I still have both the free race change and trait reset. Haven't chosen any traits yet.
So what's the actual percentage of success on Voidfist? I've never really known, just accepted it as something to be aware of/run from, but this made me wonder:
That's 11 consecutive blocked cures. You can see at the end where I actually paused Svo, because the sudden repetitive spamming made me think it was the system that had gone awry, before I realized it was just Void being obscene.

Yes. Traits are entirely up to you as a player. That being said, I always recommend: Primary: 1.) Nimble/Quick-Witted. 2.) +Stat
As for the third major : It's all situational. Everyone comes across different desires. Pick traits that YOU think will help you, not what someone says to Meta combat. Enjoy!

Yeah, you can't really go wrong with better balance/EQ (either is advantageous for most if not all classes).
How about the major traits that increase sip amount? Does anybody know how much of an increase you get and how that compares to a sip ring?
5%, about half of a level 1 sip ring. Notably, 1 point of the corresponding attribute (str or int) increases your sip by roughly the same amount (depending on your level and base str/int, but generally right around 5% and often a bit more, iirc) while also providing a higher max hp/mp.
Quite right. If that's the only thing you see to correct me on in that post made after several months of dormancy and a few beers, I'm going to say I'm doing pretty well over all.
BEDEVIL has been tweaked. It is now prevented by broken arms and paralysis, and will no
longer transfer uncureable timed afflictions.
I assume that the first part ("prevented by broken arms and paralysis") refers only to the active bedevil ability and not the defense, but what about the latter? Is the defense still supposed to be able to reflect timed affs?
Using the ability is stopped by broken arms/paralysis. Can't bedevil, or reflect timed affs. Because, let's be real, reflecting stuff like Enlighten is fucking retarded.
I was con, but with vitality, transmute, and numb, monk has quite a bit of survivability. There were plenty of times I would have rather had some extra str. Traits are really up to you. Nimble and either +str or +con are probably most common. Assuming you're not going int-based for telepathy.

This from the Jester, with a Shackle and balloon? Ha
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Also, I never used shackle on you! Rude.
