@Makarios For Classlead 56, support characters are going to just reapply the defense when it fades from the person propping totems. I'm not sure if that was the intention.
It will be a very fast tick, but I'm fine with support characters being able to do that, they'll just have to commit more resources than presently.
Just to clarify, the Uraiad change re: pre-artefact stats... that's not going to let you double up, right? I assume it'll just use the higher of the two bonuses? Like if I've got a +2 str gauntlet and I'm borrowing from someone with a +1, would I get a +2 bonus, right? Not +3? If it's adding up artefacts together, hooooly cow.
Just assuming, but it sounds like it should be the pre-artefact stats of the person you use it on. If they're wearing +3 con you'd not get any of that, but then it would add whatever +con bonuses you have on top.
So, wait, what's the point then? I mean, I am not entirely sure I am understanding right, but does that mean that for example, if I uraiad someone who has lvl3 con artefacts, I'd not be able to copy those stats even if I don't have any con artefacts at all?
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
Ok, so you can Dex spec for that aging. @Zulah showed me a couple combos that are only possible with high Dex. And you can still get dragon stats, right?
I think everyone can agree that you shouldn't be able to have two people having lvl 3 str and con arties just because 1 person has them and the other is a depthswalker. And being able to bypass artie stacking rules through a class skill shouldn't be allowed either.

No, @Makarios just stated you can't use them on Dragons anymore. I am not sure artie stacking was ever a problem, though. I don't think they stacked at all, but if it was, then they could have just fixed that instead.
Eh, I suppose its still nice, just nowhere near as nice as it was

The arties don't stack, so that was not the problem.
The issue raised in the classlead is that a DW who, say, consolidates their +str/+con/+sip/flying/celerity into a single artefact, is disadvantaged when they Uraiad versus a DW who keeps the 5 powers in separate artefacts, as the latter can give away just the +str/+con arties for Uraiad, and still have +sip/flying/celerity to use.
Yeah, as mentioned, the main point to Uraiad now seems to be so you can race/trait/specialise for INT/DEX, and have Uraiad to get STR/CON when you need it.
Interesting classleads round. You've opened up the pits of hell to anyone smart enough to abuse the comboable non-void elemental fists, though. They're INCREDIBLY potent in certain offense chains.

Chivalry -------- * The ability to RAZE the SPEED defence has been removed. Knights have received a slight accuracy upgrade to account for this. All other forms of RAZE have also lost this functionality.
@Makarios Blademasters being another class that is (in my opinion) more susceptible to consistent misses on high-DEX opponents, did they also receive an accuracy boost?

Not sure an accuracy increase was really warranted, since nobody was intentionally razing speed to decrease their opponent's dodge chance as far as I know. Would seem odd to sacrifice affliction and damage momentum to do so when you generally don't miss that much as a knight unless you have clumsiness.
I believe the issue lies with speed razing no longer granting a temporary accuracy bonus(whether intentional or not, isn't relevant) thus, becoming a dry penalty balance.
It probably occurs often enough by accident with some knights, that taking away the raze speed aspect versus dodgier aff classes might make the effects of clumsiness even more pronounced - since they can't recover aff momentum from an accidental speed raze by becoming more accurate for the next 2-3 balances.
DWB shouldn't benefit from this buff. Blademasters already have access to air/void fist - increasing their accuracy wouldn't be of that much benefit, since they aren't obligated to stick illness against smart parrying.
I submitted that exact same classlead last round and the response was that 'you don't lose balance by throwing an eye sigil, don't see why serps should lose balance'
Delighted they came around.
He is a coward who has to bring two friends as backup to jump people hunting.
It's even funnier because Bleak is dormant right now.
