Probably going to offer it to Ourania with a ritual. My only problem is she'll probably fling it at me with it next time I say something zap-worthy (which is too often!).
Actually, @Jarrod and I have kept her off the buying drug for a couple of months now. It's a work in progress. I was -pissed- (and happy, obviously) when she purchased that much!

I want to switch my anklet of dashing to a pair of boots, but that's 700 credits for the custom work (plus the cost of the original artefact). I also considered that, at some point, I may want/need dexterity (multi-classing or general changes to classes). It's cheaper (in the long run) to pay 500 credits for level one dex boots now plus the 700 to switch the anklet power to those than it would be to pay 700 to get it switched to a regular pair of boots, then have to pay 700 + 500 (or more) to get the dexterity power added to them (or another item) later.
Plus I'm kind of at the point where anything I buy, while nice, isn't going to give me a HUGE benefit. The Robes of the Magi and level three mana sip ring were really the last ones that would fall into that category, what's left is situational or fun things (I'm tempted by a level three flail, primarily so I can customise it - I may have a problem).
@Antonius makes me want to go shopping. Definite rave!

@Antonius: Careful! It starts out with some robes and some rings and a pair of boots, and before you know it you wake up in a nest next to five eagles, covered in feathers and no idea what happened the night before.
I just wanted to say thanks for all that the players and admin do here to make this such an enjoyable game and community. Even at times when Achaea can make me want to pull my hair out, I still come back to it, and have been playing it for over 10 years now. I don't think any other game I've ever played has ever come close, and I've met a lot of good people here and developed great friendships with people I would have never met otherwise. Also wanted to apologize for how I used to be, I used to be bitter towards a lot of players and admins, mostly due to things that had nothing to do with Achaea, so thanks for always being here Achaea!
(end sappiest post I've ever made that may or may not have been influenced by a few drinks).
You pay 1000 credits and receive Robes of the Magi.
You pay 500 Bound Credits and upgrade to a ring of Somnustra! You pay 1000 Bound Credits and upgrade to a ring of Lunastra!
You pay 500 credits and receive Pixies' Boots.
You pay 400 Bound Credits and upgrade to a blood pendant!
You pay 150 credits and receive spectacles of whitesight.
Still have about half the credits I had to spend left, just not sure what else I want to buy. May have to bug @Tecton to borrow some items to play with first.
You forgot a pretty obvious artefact choice, @Antonius - Earrings with Santar!

If you're waiting for 80/50 chain mail I'm not sure you'll ever be switching. Been a long time since I really paid attention to forging but not sure those stats are even possible.

Haha, they're almost certainly not. But I know of a set of 80/30something, so I'll shoot for a nice set of 70/45-55 and see what happens.

Holy fuck, you just bought artefacts to the combined equivalent of:
a) a monthly bond repayment of a decent 2 bedroom apartment, b) a nice car's (think new Golf 6) monthly payment in South Africa.
Really intended to log in, do paperwork and log out to sleep tonight. Got waylaid by @Orzaansyn for a conversation, who then became the first person who got to taste my first recipe of pastries. Had fun! Thank you.

Ugh, I hate the exchange rate in my country! :-<
Well over my monthly rent, with no exchange rate involved (though my apartment's only 1 bedroom, and likely doesn't count as "decent").

You take a throwing axe from a sturdy iron forge.
It is a one-handed weapon.
Damage: 95 To-hit: 148 Speed: 256
A throwing axe has no venoms or magical effects on it.
Viva la Bluef.
Not quite yet. Gotta forge a 180 speed Spear and a set of 80/50 Chainmail.

Viva la Bluef.
Damage is only relevant spear/trident stat.
