I wasn't referring to you when I said that. I have been issued I think 10 times. 9/10 of them were by someone from Shallam. With two of them, I had been told "a higher up in Shallam told them/me to"
Time to turn this thread back around again! Stop derailing so much, argh.
Rave 1: Neraeos. Yes, I rave about this a lot, but the fact I can show a denizen conversation to my (more or less) Order boss and him being impressed and excited about the new information makes me turn cartwheels. Were I able to cartwheel, anyway. Mental cartwheels!
Rave 2: Having our two main Cyrenian Divine. I cannot think of of many circumstances where Divine will actually sit with us through an open meeting - and you know that meeting is important when -both- Phaestus and Scarlatti show up. Having their support, advice, and thoughts on what is generally the more tedious and headache-inducing meetings/discussions is just perfectly fantastic. Scarlatti especially for offering a wide variety of thoughts and ideas (Senatorial concubines aside...)
In general, thank you, lovely Divine, for continuing to make my playing experience engaging, even when doing something that isn't particularly entertaining to most. =D>
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
With a sibilant 'shhhiiiinnngggt!', you smoothly sheathe Blood Cloud.
I really like that sword name. Blademaster looks to be a very interesting class, and I still get to keep some abilities from monk such as mindnet, fullsense, and most of the defenses (plus evade).
Echoing @Melodie's rave. If it hadn't been for Phaestus and Scarlatti hadn't been in the party, I would have either fallen asleep or killed people.
Also, I still don't remember what I volunteered as tribute for, but I'm damned proud I got to have a Hunger Games reference- aside from wanting to do that in Cyrene every 20 IG years >.>
Who will reign surpreme?! Will it be tough and caustic Faur, or the tree-hugging Kii?! Vote for your favourites! <:-P

Iridescent fire blossoms in a halo from Caer Witrin's tallest peak as a
dragon takes wing, its shroud of snowflakes shedding blue luminescence
in a trail across the firmament.
Cheers erupt from Caer Witrin's villagers, who furiously wave
multi-coloured handkerchiefs towards their champion, and a thunderous
roar shakes the Vashnars as the wyrm soars across Cyrene.
Spiralling upwards in a fluid dance, the mighty dragon Kaden suddenly
disappears through an unseen rip in reality, a fading harmonic sending
shivers through the clouds in his wake.

Simply awesome! Lots of raves for Scarlatti for that one.
@Veldrin & @Silas : That was fun, but I must be doing something wrong. This isn't the first time I've been involved when a denizen felt like harassing a city.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.
Just gotta have the right people in the right spot at the right time and things just explode.
I know. The hard part is finding people who a) want to do it and b) don't drive you crazy with incompatible personality quirks (i.e., aren't batshit crazy)

To be fair, you CAN be absolutely insane and fully productive and efficient. It's just the way you balance it.
yes, but I know i personally can't work well with those types. Those who I am working with in all of my duties click well with me, which is leading to a massive surge in personal productivity, which is the reason for the rave.
