  • Just as I spent a fair portion of the 90 lessons from April Fools getting up to Elixlist in Vision, too, hah! Still, good change.

    Subj: LISTS

We've just loaded up a small change to the Vision skill to make
information more available for new adventurers, all of the *LIST
commands have been combined into a single skill (AB VISION LISTS), which
is available at the inept skill level.

Penned by My hand on the 7th of Aeguary, in the year 622 AF.

    Syntax:
ARMOURLIST     Easily list and view the stats on your armour.
BOOKLIST       All about your journals and books.
CLOTHESLIST    Easily list and view info on clothing you are wearing.
ELIXLIST       All about your curative liquids.
JEWELLERYLIST  View everything about jewellery you possess.
KEYLIST        See a list of your keys and what they open.
LETTERLIST     List the letters in your inventory.
PIPELIST       List all of your pipes and what's in them.
RUNELIST       Identify the runes in a room.
SHARDLIST      View details about the iconic shards you hold.
       VENOMLIST      All about your venoms.
WEAPONLIST     Easily list and view the stats on your weapons.

A series of abilities to quickly examine items in your inventory.

    Yay.

You see A'issem, Chieftess of the Yriluawe shout, "I am reborn! Thank you, Mosr."

Finally. After like a RL year of trying, I finally got it. It's not a hard quest by any means, but every time I sat down to do it, something would happen to keep me from finishing it. I'd die, a raid would start, there would be someone on the seas that needed help.

Not this time. I finished that stupid quest and only had to wait about 2 hours.
Since when does she shout? Or do you not hear that one when deaf (unlike Maim)?

    :(

it doesn't have to be awkward. Share anyways, and think of the possibilities!

@Jurixe and @Layna for having metaphorical non-discrminating imaginary balls of imaginary power and/or for being good cheerleaders and/or supporting me in my work and/or because of cats

@Melodie. Thank you.... thank you, thank you, thank you, for giving me something to look forward to.

The sheer amounts of awesome cannot be described by my limited vocabulary, and thank you doesn't cover it adequately.

    Subj: Exterminate

In news that is, no doubt, of interest to forestals and necromancers
both, exterminate is no longer permanent. After approximately one
in-game year, an exterminated room will regenerate on its own, with the
exception of forest rooms in Mhaldor, where the red fog and the power
manifested by Sartan keeps Nature at bay.

Penned by My hand on the 9th of Miraman, in the year 622 AF.

not sure what I think about this change alone, but hey, things are actually changing on that front!

Is there more than one forest room on the Isle?
  • I'm hoping that's just intended to be a temporary bandaid.

  • ShirszaeShirszae Santo Domingo
Well, now forestals only need to find an exuse for letting things be for a year. Personally, I would have found a variable duration be more interesting than a fixed one.

And you won't understand the cause of your grief...

    @Koyuki awesome rush isn't it?

I remember my first theft under the old theft rules. My hands shook a little bit afterwards. I then gave the stuff back because I felt guilty and changed back to monk. But it's a rush that'll stick with ya.

Ha. The victim's hands were probably shaking too if he or she was also a new player. I remember the first person who attempted theft on me was @medi and though it wasn't successful I sent so many people to kill (since the thief is infamous) that the naga mentor stepped in to mediate things. Nice rp resolution.

Had to run from some Mhaldorians from clouds, walked down into the isle and hit two totems and was lagging like crazy. No clue how I got away intacted.
