When I saw your name as the most recent poster in this, I thought it was going to be because you finally hit that cerberus!
Damn straight, I moved right along to my gnolls down in the ghetto.
garrote gnoll
You slip behind a flail-wielding gnoll sentry and garrote him with your whip.
A flail-wielding gnoll sentry exclaims, "Bah, I wasn't ready!"
The final blow proves too much for a flail-wielding gnoll sentry, who expires pitifully.
You have slain a flail-wielding gnoll sentry, retrieving the corpse.
EDIT: GUYS GUYS! *Excited* This is totally the furthest I've ever made it on an account, thanks soooo much for your support and teasings! Lots of love! Kisses and hugs to all!
garrote gnoll
You slip behind Hrorknar, the gnoll smith and garrote him with your whip.
The final blow proves too much for Hrorknar, the gnoll smith, who expires pitifully.
You have slain Hrorknar, the gnoll smith, retrieving the corpse.
Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 35. <== Damn straight.
You have reached the illustrious level of Dynamic.

I know this feeling well, as this is roughly my third try at Achaea over an 8 RL year period, and the first time I ever made it out of novicedom. Props to the Sylvan house and to the rest of the people (you know who you are) who have made this time around worth staying for.
I like the enthusiasm of this Naga. I feel like she'll make an interesting assassin one day. Like...what was it, the Sorrowful Men, who would kill you and then whisper, "I'm sorry" into your ear as you died.
Nono, if I did that in real life, I would start sobbing over their dead body and beg for forgiveness, and continue to shake their dead corpse until they forgave me. (Lol, flashback of that movie, The Dictator)
Koyuki is a badass(?), she already swore in Suffering and the blood she would shed through her training, that she will surpass @Vayne which caused some interesting RP! :P

Teaching a novice how to make basic aliases and macros in mudlet yay. Now hopefully he will not die anymore. He was manualing his combos :S not even using kill command
@Sherazad You and Shadizar. I got you both confused for the loooooongest time. I was like wait. I thought she was mhaldorian. HOW IS SHE CYRENIAN AND A GUY NOW!!!
Commission List: Aesi, Kenway, Shimi, Kythra, Trey, Sholen .... 5/5 CLOSED I will not draw them in the order that they are requested... rather in the order that I get inspiration/artist block.
I have been called a Sir several times now. *preen*
Katz has had two Grunts call her Sir now. One even did it twice - I corrected her, then she said it again half an hour later. Really don't think she's all that manly!

Bleh, work ate my gaming life. 내가 제일 잘 나가!!!111!!1
You're welcome, though Selind still claims it was his.
It actually was mine. I had roughly 60k gold and didn't pack it after buying mushrooms. Then you messaged me about it and I said actually you have my gold then you just.... Ignored it. Shame because it took a while to bash that up! Oh well.
I have been having the most amazing time in Achaea lately, it's all really coming well together and it's just so enjoyable! So, rave time:
Huge thanks to @Amunet for believing in Sybilla, and being the one constant in her life. Though I'm still not ready to commit to family RP, and Sybilla's not thinking of the Viatrix-Eruu'Yuls in those terms, Amunet's this great mother figure for her and the one reassurance she has.
To @Orklanishkal, @Fitz, @Morro and likely others I'm forgetting, thank you all for being much too intelligent rhetoricians for me to hope to keep up with!
I so adore that Sybilla's found a best friend in @Verily and another we can't mention, it's really helping to give a new dimension to her character that she so lacked.
By extension, to @Vayne for recent spying/protection RP, which was unexpected but thoroughly enjoyed!
Also rave for @Arditi for being a bastard and bringing conflict in the bar and in her life, again a new dimension she lacked.
Almost last, but obviously not least, thanks to @Mordanyconus / @Babel for giving me IRL anxiety every time Sybilla's in the caverns, especially with her knack of leaving (or finding!) offerings. Today made me almost die with embarrassment when I couldn't get to the right place after!
Finally, huge love to @Talonia for being a sort of spiritual mentor for all of Sybilla's insecurities when it comes to the Cult, I really enjoy the quiet moments we've shared together.
OOCly, thanks to @Melodie for being cool about a ritual involving her! Looking forward to how it turns out, especially once some of Sybilla's loose ends are tied off.
All in all, plenty happening, not all is good things, but the bad parts are making it all really enjoyable and creating a rich atmosphere. Thanks all!

It is not uncommon for women in position to be called Sir here.
As we continue to streamline and improve the experience for new
adventurers, we found that the time-based restrictions imposed upon
increasing your class rank were not really that fun (and in some cases,
somewhat confusing), so they're gone!
The progression is as follows:
Fledgling - 2 class skills, "Skilled" max. skill rank.
Journey(wo)man - 2 class skills, "Fabled" max. skill rank.
- Obtained at level 20.
Full member - 3 class skills, no max. skill rank.
- Obtained at level 50.
-OR-
- Obtained at level 30 if you're in a house
and have reached house rank 2.
Penned by My hand on the 7th of Glacian, in the year 621 AF.
I think this might be a bit too much a change in the direction of convenience. Yes, time requirements could be tedious, but level 50 is easy to reach and only depends on doing a single thing over and over. I think there still should be a time requirement for becoming full member if you're not in a house. Otherwise, level 50 seems much more inviting than level 30 and HR 2, to most people.
The time requirements acted as encouragement to try out different aspects of the game, rather than just bashing 24/7, which was a good thing. Reducing it to only level requirements encourages a more single-player play style.
Nothing wrong with Houses doing an actual active effort to promote joining them. I believe Vayne is doing such a thing with serpents. Seems to me the retention that way would be better than a novice joining an House at random because of a static description of it, in any case.
Either way, the removal of the time limit for journeyman is a very good thing. Being forced to use, say, stone punch instead of firelash and a standard slash instead of a dual one for the first 20 hours no matter what when reaching those points naturally would be much faster always seemed terribly arbitrary to me while providing very little positive to the experience.

I've had no less than 8 novices and 3 randoms call Wysteria "Sir" which is something I will never understand. Apparently being in Viridian confuses them because a walking tree as part of the LOOK appearance = must be a bloke. That and the other person was Soshica — and he/she/it doesn't count.
"Faded away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling, Only remembered for what we have done."
I think this might be a bit too much a change in the direction of convenience.
I agree with that, but I still think the change is an improvement over the old system.
I do think there should be some additional requirement beyond level, but being logged in for a certain number of hours is a pretty poor choice for that. There could be some sort of quest that you have to complete to become a full member of the class, or something that requires interaction with other players, or something else more fair and interesting.
