    Welcome to Ashtan life right now. I can't even go hunt back my experience without being sniped, backstabbed, ganked. Have to be the predator to get any exp and actively hunt the people who've jumped us.

    The hilarious thing is that is the experience of any Ashtani that participates right now. So I started hunting down people who do that and I got a series of messages about what a cunt I am for "counting cause" and how I discourage people from playing and how people are right that I'm a piece of shit. Granted the chief complainants are people who killed me when I wasn't an avatar and there wasn't a shardfall. Oh you don't like dying? Sucks dick huh? Must be terrible. Must be so hard to fight 25 v 6. your life is so hard. Man you asshats disgust me

    So no new progress for the event, and now the shard drops are borked. Either someone broke the shard drop functions, or there's some shady stuff going on to try and force everyone to surrender their shards to one shrine.

    Some of us have been trying to influence and curb the behaviour of just constant jumping, going after people when it's not a shard fall, or this fight getting dragged to when people aren't involved and are just hunting/spinning the wheel/gambling, but it's not exactly proving easy.

    Yeah.. shardfall is whatever. Dragging it outside of that is just a level of dumfuckery we can do without (despite "having cause" and RP justifiable)

    The problem is the main complainants are people who do take it outside of shardfalls and then don't want you to come back after them. They've established rules, if you don't want to follow them, cool. Not gonna complain or issue, but I'm coming for you. Don't want that, follow the rules. Easy enough

    Really easy to say make it open PK when it is 60 vs 10 and you're on the side with 60. This would be more fun if there were no coalition and every city had a group fighting for splinters every drop.

    I'll agree with this... but at the same time most people know what they are doing when they are going after the drops.

    I'd say let the admin adjust to how everything has worked out and move on from there. I'm sure most people didn't expect a coalition(this early with just our shrines on the line) just based on our previous experiences. I'm sure they'll get us going against eachother again before we all rally up v the big bad.

    I don't understand this at all. We're just supposed to let enemies subvert shards now, when they can literally hit astral/blackwind the second they get balance back from subverting/gathering and get away scot free while their entourage of allies fights the party that was trying to engage them but couldn't because of.. whatever the fuck this is?

    Just make the shardfall zones open PK while splinters remain in them. This is tremendously stupid.

    If you want this conflict to devolve into mobility cheese, this is exactly how you do it.
    As opposed to the current strategy, which is "rune the entire world, mind paralyse anyone subverting, gather up a deathball and pull the Achaean equivalent of the Starcraft attack-move command"?

    Your moral high ground in this argument is a few feet above Shallam.

    Yep, so now you can all safely spread out one by one or two by two in the area (gotta have your partner there to use their earrings/wings, after all), subvert essence while saying "neener neener I'm not technically touching it yet," then immediately get out to hide behind guards/totems until everyone else gets bored of defending a random patch of illegally totemed territory against a 7-second channel action. Really well thought out.

    Or maybe Anytus and the other admins are more aligned with Babel/Mhaldor/Tsol'teth than we realized. Guess he's called Deletus for a reason!
