And it was wholly not my intention, but i accidentally got another one. I haven't had a legit kitten in at least 10 years, I forgot how -small- they are. It's like a regular cat, but in miniature~!

So, we went for a bit of a drive up into the Blue Mountains over the weekend and explored the beautiful Katoomba Falls among other areas.

It's hard to see in the first pic, but apparently the reason the Blue Mountains got their name is because, as the forests are about 95% eucalyptus trees, the oil gets released by the trees and dispersed in the air around the mountains, giving them a blue, hazy appearance.

Managed to get out of town with a few friends for a couple days of the long weekend. Happy belated veterans day!

Went splorin' and found this abandoned log cabin.

Old water pump next to the cabin...

Spent the day basking in what might be the last time we see the sun until next May.
