Spam isn't great, but it's not bad, and it's pretty cheap (for something that requires minimal preparation). It's a lot better than most lunch meats that people eat regularly.
I mean, I understand that it's greatly hated on, but I feel like most people haven't actually tried it? Or maybe people simply tried to eat it as a block with 0 preparation, which is about as cool as eating sliced bologna by itself (seeing as I've done both, I don't feel that either of those is that terrible a thing to do).
We have or used to have spam trucks in Hawaii that sold/offered samples of different flavors of spam. Dunno. Not like I totally love it, but it can be pretty damn good in certain situations, like most anything.
And as he slept he dreamed a dream, and this was his dream.
Rather popular with some of the Native American population. I know it's quite popular, right along with mutton, on the Navajo reservation. I don't eat it, but a lot of my relatives do and we're Alaskan Native.

Why would people eat it as a whole block?
I actually like Spam and the different ways you can cook it. The fact it's so damn salty means it's great as a backup for a lot of Asian dishes.
Example: Fried Rice. • cup of leftover boiled rice • diced carrots, onion, garlic • snow peas • 1/3 can diced Spam • sliced omellette • one tablespoon oil + 2 tablespoon soy sauce = stir fry it up in a hot pan on high for five minutes. Done.
If I'm really lazy I'd just slice up the Spam and pan fry it like that, and serve as a side dish. Frankly I just like the fact the cans still need keys to open it
To avoid de-rail: I was stuck in over 90mins traffic on the motorway to get home yesterday after work. Managed to take a photo of the sunset at least:
"Faded away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling, Only remembered for what we have done."
...sliced onions, yellow jello, pickled radishes and spam? Are you supposed to eat that all together? what on earth would that taste like?
I used to like spam until my mom gave it to me in various forms every day for a week when I was about 5 (in sandwiches, fried rice, etc). Then I hated it.

Couldn't make it to the Y650 Twins Tournament because I had to follow my parents/cousin to Canada Blooms(a flower exhibition). These exhibits reminded me of potential Eleusian attire.
Also, a really cool table with a flowing stream of water through the center.
Here are some pictures of me from October last year. Visited the Schonnbrunn PalaceChildren's Museum (Vienna, Austria). Got to dress up in royal costumes. Fun
Commission List: Aesi, Kenway, Shimi, Kythra, Trey, Sholen .... 5/5 CLOSED I will not draw them in the order that they are requested... rather in the order that I get inspiration/artist block.
When I was little, I had a very very very favorite stuffed rabbit, creatively named Bunny. I loved him soooo much that Mom bought two of him, so that should tragedy strike, I would never be Bunnyless. Here I am as a disturbingly girly small child (I was always a tomboy, not sure what the parents were doing to me with that dress), Bunny in hand:
Sadly, when we moved in 1999, Bunny vanished. BOTH Bunnys vanished! Mom and I searched and searched and searched many times, including when she recently moved again, but there was never any sign of Bunny again. It became a bit of a family tale, a thing we would wistfully sigh about and wonder how in the world we could have lost not one but TWO of my beloved Bunny, when everyone knew how beloved he was. Then, the other day, I was struck with an urge to try to find Bunny online, something I had tried before with no luck. Low and behold, it worked this time! And thus, I present to you Bunny version 3.0, with a very, very happy Kyriella (who refuses to believe that 26 is too old to be this happy about a stuffed animal).
