  • HOLY - FORUM PHASE.

When did this happen. Can I still open forum-doors? What is going on with you people that I have this wonderful thing?
  • It's kinda overrated really. I have a spare if you want it.
  • Look, it's shiny and new. Let me enjoy it.

Yay, my sister will be home in less than 48 hours! I'm catching up on all my sleep for our customary 24 hour non-stop gaming session!

I have a nice stack of unopened video games that I've been collecting since she left, for us to play once she got back. And then, cat picking time!!!! *dies from the excitement*

    Meow, meow, etc.

Another rave, had some spare money and rain to the store to pick up 200 bucks more of games.

    >.< I need food suggestions, HALP PLZ!

Pizza seems a bit messy for playing console games... As does popcorn, and other finger foods.

    Corn dogs? 0.0

    Meow, meow, etc.

Breaded chicken tenders. Preferably not the Tyson-crap kind.

  • Got over my phone-related panics long enough to talk with the guy I might be renting an apartment from (it looks AWESOME, and a great friend is going to check it out for me later this week, since I'm on the other side of the country) and to make a doctor's appointment for my super-angry sinuses (wish it was for sooner than June 10th, but I'll take what I can get). Vaguely winning!

I do hope you mean July 10th...

Shush. I'm in denial about it already being July. But yes, that is what I meant.

And as he slept he dreamed a dream, and this was his dream.

Last night: rum root beer floats out of mason jars at two in the morning, on a veranda in the ghetto, with awesome people.

Today: Booze, food, a swimming pool, a hot tub, more booze, and my mother's usual cast of drunken, aging partygoers. Plus the awesome people from last night.

    Tonight: Explosives.

My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!

Rum root beer floats? WHY DID I NEVER THINK OF THIS BEFORE. Thank you, @Amunet!

Edit: and this isn't a rave, but these were the explosions a couple of insane people were hoping would go off in my city this Canada Day: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2013/07/03/bc-canada-day-bomb-plot-timing-police-involvement.html
  • Had a fantastic day hanging out with @Illyose and his brothers-- great movie, great conversations, great board game (Super Dungeon Explore... so awesome!!), and generally a great 4th.
  • Finally got to see my dad and one of my sisters along with her whole family (first time since my grandma's funeral earlier this year :/ ) Got a large deposit from grandma's estate that completely floored me- which is great because we're livin la vida broke-a. Plus, he offered to take me and my kids (when they get older) out to Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania which is where he grew up. Little one was grumpy because she didn't nap at all until the fireworks came on, then she was back to her grumpy self.

Was just an overall good day (though now my body can't cool off, so that's why I'm awake at 1:25 am)
    meh

  • Just found out that one of my students is giving a talk in his English class today, on what it means to be a Senpai. Guess who his main talking point is?

I'm an inspiration. Wow, does that feel weird.

Found a $300 check I had been meaning to cash... (I am so freaking lazy if anything requires me to leave my house) it makes up for waking up to a spider IN my bed. needless to say I only got two hours of sleep.

    Meow, meow, etc.

  • If that happened to me, I would feel bad for wasting someone else's money on Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and worse for then feeling obligated to actually drink it.
