It's probably a little late from the release date but FnaF4 is out. I have never been so happy for release of a game I will NEVER EVER EVER FUCKING PLAY but I really enjoy trying to puzzle out the story underneath it.
Me and my tenuous relationship with numbers got me in a pickle, resulting in me pricing wood for 5 gold in a shop with about 30k gold in it. I was at my wit's end, costing the city over a million gold, and then....
You see that the letter contains some gold sovereigns.
Part one of wood payment. Second will come later.
And later -
You see that the letter contains some gold sovereigns.
Part 2
And later yet -
You see that the letter contains some gold sovereigns.
Wood package part 3!
Someone found out about the purchase and thought it wasn't right and made up for it.

Thank you, Anonymous. I really appreciate it.
That's amazing. It kind of renews my faith in humanity.

Only if they're human. They could have been Tsol'aa or Horkval or even Grook.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my rape gorilla!
My overly nosy LoL teammate/Achaea friend and his wife heard about my nasty breakup and surprised me with an early Christmas gift...with VIP tickets to the local showing of Devil's Carnival! Alleluia, where I get to meet the filmmakers. Still kind of freaking out. A lot. And another friend randomly popped up and handed me twenty cups of chocolate pudding. I kind of love my friends.
Way back before the sun had rays, I went to an elementary school here in Michigan that had a "gifted and talented" program. After elementary, a few of us went on to study for halfdays in middle school at the Center for Arts and Sciences too. These are people I've known practically my whole life and have been very fortunate to keep in contact with via Facebook. Today one of those old friends, who I've known since 4th grade, visited the college classes I teach to share his grandfather's WWII memorabilia. He had to drive 30-45 minutes because the classes are held at small, rural high schools in the westernmost part of our County.
It was..amazing. We may not hang out all the time or even be what people consider real "friends," but I feel so blessed to have people like this in my life. He was willing to take a day off work to talk to freshman composition students (twice/at two different schools). To both of us, the preservation of US military history is important but still...he went above and beyond!
If you're interested, the pics from the visit are here. For reference, we're from Saginaw, MI and the ship his grandfather was on was called the USS Saginaw Bay.
I'm currently in school working on my bachelors in special education. I had to complete 60 hours of observation this month before student teaching in January. I've been spending time in two fifth grade inclusion classrooms. One of the school janitors rescued a turtle from the road this morning and brought it to one of the teachers I'm observing. It's now their class pet. The students voted on a name. They picked Felicia so that, when leaving for the day, they could say "Bye Felicia!" These kids... I'm going to miss them when I finish my time tomorrow!
The gravital pull from the sometimes sh*t show called Achaea sucked me back from the grave. Didn't think I was coming back after four months of hell with my job/life, but things turned around. I missed a lot of people, some that I got to see again ic today. Some that I'll probably not see again (@jeslyn). Just thought I'd say hello.
Focus on results and you'll never see progress. Focus on progress and you'll see results.
Avex released a bunch of old Ayumi Hamasaki tracks on youtube.
Ahh~~ My youth. She's as beautiful as I remembered and her voice just as sweet.
My best friend in high school LOVED listening to her and got me mildly hooked when I was younger. Thanks for sharing this. Spent a good half an hour that I probably shouldn't have just listening through the videos, hah.
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to? You will never find that [everlasting] life for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, but life they retained in their own keeping. As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, feast and rejoice. Let your clothes be fresh, bathe yourself in water, cherish the little child that holds your hand, and make your wife happy in your embrace; for this too is the lot of man."
Queeeeeeeeennnnnnnslaaaaaaaaaaand foooootbaaaaallll teeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaammmmmmm!!!! (Seriously one of them one the NRL finals but I won't spoil it for Australians but it literally went down to the last play. The winners were so happy they accidentally punched their captain in the face in the victory huddle and there was blood everywhere)
Wife left a company because they wouldn't offer a competitive salary like promised when she accepted a position. Now she's back... because they were screwed without her, got desperate, and made a much higher offer than she was original asking to get her back.
I finally got my official results and my Certificate from my last course this week! I still can't believe that I actually got through it. I really hope that I do just as well with my current course/ It's definitely so much more work to do this time around.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
The flooding finally receded enough for me to stick my head outside the door and not join the body count...and classes are cancelled for the rest of the week, what a wonderful day in South Carolina >.>
Today is the first chance I've had to have a moment alone in over a month, by standing up my entire family on thanksgiving. I barely sleep, and they know that, because I have to catch my grandmother when she starts to wander in dangerous directions, especially with my kitchen being renovated at the moment (floor's been pulled up and new one isn't in yet, and there's a 2-inch lip at the top of the stairs giving me nightmares).
I was feeling guilty about standing them up, worried about offending them with my absence. The rave: Nope, not offended. Someone walked in with two plates all done up for me. One had turkey, ham, stuffing, etc, and the other had lemon loaf, apple crisp, cinnamon bun, cupcake. They even dressed them up with butter and melted marshmallows.
The desserts were wrapped so well it took me a while to figure out my way in, but it was worth the effort.

+5 if it is not your home town
+5 if the music isn't something you've listened to before
+5 if the music is amazing
I'm riding a solid 45/50 zen points at the moment. Then tonight going to see one of my utmost favourite bands tonight.
I'll deal with tomorrow when it rolls around but today, life is good.

It came without cables, though, so I had to fish out my old Genesis AV cable and buy a universal AC adapter for a power supply.
